This is a followup review for the Cleaner Wing Set replacement for Kreepy Krawler. My original wings lasted 8 years. When the originals wore out I decided to order the less expensive replacements. 7 months and 27 days later, the wings fell apart and I found them at the bottom of the pool. The rubber is deteriorated and there are cracks in the wings. I will order the original parts this time around. The delivery from ATIE pool service was fine although the quality of the product was lacking.

I've had to replace one of these when my original one dried out over the winter and one of the of the wings broke off. My Kreepy Krauly is over 25 years old so I was thrilled to find an inexpensive replacement part that's an exact match as the original.

First, it arrived very, very quickly - couple of days. Then, it was super easy to install. Admittedly, part of the old one was still on there, so I could just follow it as a pattern. But, no problem whatsoever!

We buy this item about every 2-3 years. Our cleaner runs year-round and to buy this exact item in the pool supply store is double to triple the cost of this one.

This replacement part fell apart one year after I purchased and installed. The piece that goes around the Kreepy broke and now both "wings" are at the bottom of my pool. The original part that came with my Kreepy lasted for years. Lesson learned... while this one was a cheaper replacement than a Kreepy brand replacement, it will cost me more in the long run as it will need to be replaced every year. My advice - spend the extra and buy the brand name replacement part.

5 months and this piece of garbage fell apart. When I fished the wings out of the water they felt sticky like the plastic was melting. You've been warned.UPDATE: Pool Supply Town IMMEDIATELY sent me a replacement product. I'm giving them 5 stars based on the quality of their service, and the fact that other supplies I have purchased from them were flawless. I fully expect that the replacement is OK, and if it isn't, I'll update again.

...still having problems getting it to work...so not sure if its not securely put back together or the wrong part.

Updates since June 3, 2016 -Unfortunately, these wings tore apart, practically disintegrated in the water and its only been 4 months. I was very content when I initially bought it as it fit perfectly and worked smoothly. Not sure if its poor quality material used or defective part but do not waste your money.
