14,000 miles so far so good! OEM made in Korea Daewoo water pump with metal propellers. Gates timing belt! Everything is running schmoooth. 46,000 miles more to go! It really helped buying two 99 cent clamps from HF to clamp the belt to the cam gears to keep them aligned. And of course the water pump wrench. Those two tools makes or breaks the job. The cam locking tool I bought I found I didn't need. The clamps are MUCH better one on top of each cam gear. Remember to give your engine two spins by hand and triple check the timing! (Chevy Aveo '07)

Installed this kit on our 2005 Aveo . Everything was good for about 6 months . One day the engine made a loud popping noise and stopped running as my wife was pulling up to a stop light . When i tore it down to see what had happened , i found that the tensioner had broken . When i looked at the broken tensioner and the pieces left behind i could not believe how thin the metal was . I guess you can't even trust the OE parts anymore . Now the engine in the car is ruined and it will be going to the junkyard .

Excellent timing kit with good build quality.

Fit fine but car had more problems then Timing belt. Valves bent and head messed up so never ran it with new timing kit in it.

Parts do not fit Aveo 2011 LT as describednow i having the mechanic charging me 340 $ for parts because he has my car sitting in his shop and not local auto store has the part in stock !
