Selected Flute Solos (With Piano Accompaniment) (Everybody's Favorite)

Ordered this on recommendation of daughter's flute instructor. After it arrived, daughter brought it to her lesson, and instructor (who has same book herself) said it's supposed to have a separate booklet inside the piano book that has the flute part (if the flute player is trying to play from the flute line that's written in the piano accompaniment, it would be VERY difficult to do.) So, I looked online and saw that others have had same problem. Called Amazon representative, who sent a replacement - the replacement was fine and included both the piano book and the flute booklet. However, it's a bit of a red flag that this has been an issue with more than a couple of customers - so I'd suggest checking as soon as you receive it to be sure you have both parts. However, content is good - challenging solos for increasing skills.

I have been looking for these flute solo arrangements for a long time. It is a wonderful collection, perfect for advanced students, well edited for phrasing and fingerings.

I love this book! I am an intermediate beginner and I can play about 1/2 of the pieces. The others are too difficult, some very much so. They represent a range of styles from baroque to romantic (no modern). The choices are beautiful, IMO.

This is an excellent book for flute playing. But, this isn't an beginnger's book. This book has pieces like Anadalouse by Emile Pessard to Concertino BY Cecile Chimanade. But, GREAT!

I like the book. my flute teacher recommended it. I'm adult flute student and this book has some challenging music in it for my level of play. The book was hard to locate because the cover is different from the original 1958 version for those who are looking for this book.

It came with only piano part. Flute part is missing.

The book only came with the piano accompaniment. Definitely a red flag that this appears to be a common issue.

Flute lessons at the college level. Good selection of fairly difficult solos.

Would recommend this book to all flute players.Just right for learnings and more advanced players of the flute.Great selection of pieces.
