I bought these to use as burp cloths. So cute and very nice quality for that purpose! I saw other reviews that complained of frayed edges and loose threads... while there are a few (as is often the nature with birdseye) it doesnt bother me and they are holding up well to washes, especially compared to others I've used. A great buy in my opinion, if intended as burp rags. However, I would not plan on using these as actual diapers if you are considering them for that. We cloth diaper too, but I'd recommend more specific cloth diapering brands like OsoCozy, Baby Kicks, and others (Im basing this on touch alone, of course). Consider the Indian cotton prefolds for diapering needs.

After reading several positive reviews for this product, I was very disappointed when my package arrived.The edges of these cloth diapers are frayed and the seams are loose and poorly sewn - leaving long threads pulling from each diaper. The part that concerns me most is that weave of the fabric is very thin and loose on the sides where they were folded. If my intention was to utilize these as cloth diapers, this would be completely unacceptable. My plan is for these to serve as burp cloths and protective sheets for my changing pad. That said, there is still some utility in these despite their poor quality (hence the two stars!)If you are looking for an inexpensive, higher quality alternative, I recommend OsoCozy 6 Pack Birdseye Flat Unbleached Diapers. You can purchase these from Amazon, and the per unit cost is actually slightly lower.

These are perfect for over-the-shoulder burp towel use (however, once wet it will seep through fairly quickly). They sop up baby puke well because they are soft and absorbent. So, while these are great to catch the wet mess, if you're looking to keep wetness from seeping through I would use fleece cloth diapers...I like having both. These are my choice for on the shoulder though because large amounts of spit up will not roll right off and onto your back like the thick fleece cloth diapers (those are best for protecting furniture & sheets because the layers aren't as quick to absorb). They are fairly thin but wash well. Great value & cute!

I ordered these diapers to use as burp cloths, not diapers, therefore I cannot really address how they work as diapers. I found that they were very uniform in size, and very soft after I washed them. The hem looks like it might come undone later, but since I sew fabric on both ends that did not concern me. I had been ordering Gerber premium diapers, but they were not uniform in size and they started adding more padding in the middle which made it hard to embroider them. These diapers are just was I was looking for, and I am very pleased with them.

We use these as all around baby rags. They're not super thick, but work well for what we ordered them for. We have not used them as diapers.

We use these for our gun cleaning business. We are not fond of these. They are very thin, like the napkins you get at a restaurant.

Like the design not thick at all or very absorbent. If you just need a burp cloth it's fine but very thin.

I ordered these for my daughter's baby and wouldn't say that they are plush by any means, but they work well for burp cloths.
