GAME 44024-BB Dive'n'Spell Kids Pool Toy, Multi

Ordered these for the kids to have another activity to do in the pool. They loved this game!

I teach swim lessons and I am a teacher so this was such a great combo. My only complaint is the pages get wet and you can not put them in the bucket right after using, suggest finding a good drying area where the wind wont blow them away.

Pros: This was a great toy for my 6 year old who was learning to dive under the water and pick up objects during swim lessons. He enjoyed finding the letters and spelling the various words. I was also impressed with the word choices.Cons: In order to play you must dump all the letters in the pool. My son would eventually get tired of being in the pool and I was left to retrieve them. They are VERY difficult to remove with the skimmer! It would take me forever. I would suggest only trowing in the required letters for each word with a few off letters for them to figure out. That way when they’re done, you don’t have a ton of letters to chase…lol.You may want to drill holes at the bottom of the container for drainage.

The letters are good quality, sturdy. The cards are not, they started spilling the 1st time we used them & we kept them on the side of the poolI made a mistake the cards that started coming apart were from a different setThe dive & spell cards are good quality did not separate

My grandbabies range from 3-13 and it’s hard to find a water toy or game for all of them to play together in the pool. This was perfect and kept them all busy for a good while. Of course we had to make some adaptions for the age differences but that was easily accomplished. They don’t have to know the alphabet to be able to match up the letters but this game provides learning opportunities for them to learn them! The older kids jumped in and helped the little ones and they all worked together to help each other find their letters. Shouts such as “I’ve got a T! Who needs a T?” or “I need an E! Anybody see one?” rang out as they played. So much fun!

We have a lot of pool toys so I was looking for something different that we could all do together and I saw this and had to have it. My 1st grader is learning to spell and it was great fir that also. We have had fun with it. There’s a lot of different “games” you can make out of it.

My kids loved this addition to our homeschool routine. It doesn’t come with very many spelling cards so we just started picking our own words to spell. My only complaint is that some of the letters weren’t weighted enough to sink.

This game is very well made. Kids of all ages love playing it! Three year olds recognize letters and get excited matching letters on the cards. Older kids make up so many games, it’s fun to see what they come up with. Would definitely buy again and recommend it to anyone!
