AIMEILI Soak Off UV LED Gel Nail Polish - VIP Mocca (026) 10ml

This is just the color I was looking for (VIP Mocca 026)--a dark rose gold is probably the best description. Even in bright light it's darker on the nails than the swatch appears on my computer screen, closer to the very lowest edge on the swatch image. But that's fine with me--I wanted a color suitable for the fall season, but I strongly prefer the pink-mauve range of colors to typical autumn shades of beige, gold, and brown. This keeps the mauve flavor while feeling right for autumn. And it will be a great color year round.It is quite sparkly so nail art won't show well on it (also partly because the color is too dark for dark nail art colors to show up, and too light for the light colors to show) and those who don't like "bling" may not care for it, but I'm happy. I'll just paint one nail a compatible color and do my art there.I gave four stars because I did find a little "gunk" in it that left imperfections on a couple of nails, perhaps because of the heavy sparkles in the mix. But they reflect light so it's not obvious.

FIRST TIME USER: I have to learn to "color within the lines" but as long as you follow instructions, you will achieve perfect results and nails as hard as fake nails. People are complaining that the polish is too thick, but I disagree. Although it is thicker than regular polish. So just and FYI. Make sure you do have some rubbing alcohol close by because when you are done you need to put some on a cotton pad and wipe the sticky stuff off your nails. It's super sticky and at first I thought my nails were still wet, but they were not.Follow the instructions and you will do just fine.The picture shows VIP Mocca also from Aimeili with Aimeili base and top coat. As you can see, it's darker than the manufacturer picture.

This isn't my favorite color, but it's okay. I was looking for a warmer shimmer color like the main seller's photo showing the oval color swatch. Unfortunately this color is darker and looks more gray, giving it a cooler effect. In the sellers' photos, there's one that says "customer images" and shows two different photos. On my nails, the polish looks much more like the left photo - as you can see, it's more gray and much harsher than the image on the right. When I saw these photos before I purchased, I had hoped it was just a lighting issue or a matter of too many coats on the darker color - but I got that same effect with only one coat. I'd like it much more if it looked more like the image on the right and the main seller's image.Because everyone has a different skin/nail tone that can affect how nail colors look on them, I swatched a sample on a piece of white cardstock. This should give you an idea of the color on its own without any top coat. This is 1 coat - more coats can be layered to achieve the look you want (though I'd be careful not to do too many coats as this can cause buildup around the edges of the nail and make them chip away faster). This color has a shimmer finish before topcoat.Like most people, I rely on honest product reviews to make purchase decisions. The color of this polish is beautiful, but it started chipping the day after I applied it. I posted a picture of when I painted them, versus what they look like 8 days later...I love a few other polishes from this brand but I was not impressed with this one. The consistency was a lot thinner than the other colors I own. Overall, not impressed. *The decal on my nail is from: Nikki's Endless Treasures 2013*

I LOVE this color!! Would order again for sure! I have only had issues with chipping/peeling on two nails after a week. Im not sure if that is the color or top/base coat though (I use this brand of top/base)

This is a mocha color, more brown than I expected. However I get lots of compliments on the color. Its a brown with tiny copper glitter that makes it sparkle. This polish went on smoothly, stayed on over two weeks and came of easily with gel remover.

This is a great work/day color (026) at a great price. Shipping takes a bit but if you don't need it tomorrow it's worth the wait. The bottle is .33 oz- a tad smaller than a standard bottle.

Meh. I usually LOVE this brand, but this color didn't last, plus it was thin and took a ton of coats. Nice color, but not at all mocha. More of a smokey grey-purple.

Not at all as the picture. The color is more like dark stony bronze rather a light golden rose. I haven't tried it since I don't like the color so I don't know about quality.

Bit disappointed with the colour as it is nothing like the image displayed. Love the Aimeili range and it's good quality. This is the first time I've been disappointed with the colour. It's more like a glittery brown rather than the pearly gold in the image.

Zuallererst muss ich sagen, dass ich weder eine professionelle Nageldesignerin bin, noch etwas derartiges gelernt habe - bin einfach nur ein absoluter Nagellack-Fan und:Ich liebe die UV Lacke von Aimeili !!! :)Der Lack 026 ist mittlerweile der sechste Lack, den ich von dieser Marke bestellt habe und ich liebe ihn genauso, wie alle anderen Farben!!Der Lack lässt sich super einfach auftragen und trocknet sehr schnell unter der UV Lampe.Eine weiter Empfehlung sind der Base- und Top-Coat von Aimeili - der TopCoat ist insofern der Hammer, weil keine Fettschicht entsteht, die extra weggewischt werden muss.

Does need a top coat if you want it to look shiny and smooth.If it doesn't seem to be drying under the UV light, give it a wipe with alcohol.
