Spigen Slim Armor Galaxy S4 Case for Galaxy S4 - Crimson Red

I like Red and this red case is really red and that is my favorite part. The fitment is just slightly off. If they would have made it a tad bit tighter it would be perfect. I am not afraid of the phone coming out of the case. Buttons on the phone work while in the case. The cut out for the camera, flash, headphone jack etc are all spot on.My biggest gripe and it is one that was addressed by another reviewer as well, is that the case does not extend out from the face of the phone hardly at all. If you were to lay the phone face down with the case on a flat surface you will be OK. But even if there is a bit of sand or crumbs underneath they will touch the screen. To protect my screen I will be putting on the SPIGEN SGP Screen Protector Clear Steinheli.My other concern is how well the case will protect the phone when I drop it from my lap getting out of my car. When I had my iPhone I did this probably 3 times in the course of a year. The case I had on it was similar to this one but a but beefier and the phone was never harmed. This case is very form fitting and does not bulk the phone up really at all and as a result I'm just not confident it will protect it that much from a drop on to the concrete. Unless you want to get a bulky case though I guess this is the trade off.Overall, I am digging the new case. My previous case was the flip cover one and although it was cool that I could close the cover to turn the phone off or open the cover to turn the phone on...it got old after a while and it offered no real protection.If you are looking for a nice case that is not bulky and offers decent protection then this is the case for you. Add a screen protector and you can feel confident that you have your phone covered in most situations. YOu need ultimate protection from constant drops then go with one of those Life cases or the bulky Otter Box.

This is by far one of the best cases i've ever owned.Im not a gentle phone user. I shove it in pockets full of keys, screws, a pocket knife and god knows what else on a daily basis. just today i've dropped it twice. And between my wife, my daughter and myself it get knocked off the arm of the couch at least 2-3 times per day. After all the abuse i put my phone and case through, my phone is still pristine. My case however is showing the strains.feature wise this case is pretty nice. the case does add a fair amount of size (nothing compared to an otterbox) but it still fits in my jeans no problem. even though i forget how much slimmer my phone is until i take the case off, that's just the trade off for such a rugged case. buttons work fine. easy to snap on and off but does not "fall off" of its own accord. color is great, makes it easy to spot when its face down on a counter, coffee table or tossed in a bag.Although the case is still 100% functional the day to day wear has taken its tole on the cosmetic side of things. after about 6 months the UV coating began to flake off and it was a slippery slope from there. at this point most of the UV coating has flaked off and now white patches are showing through the red.Link to image of case after about a year of abuse.[...]now this been said they do sell a replacement back for about $6. This time i think i will go with white to mitigate the color wear. i would recommend this product for anyone that's interested in a case that sacrifices a bit of size for a lot of protection.on a side note several of my friends and family now happily own this case based on my recommendation.

I bought this because I needed to replace my Spigen Neo Hybrid case (the outer shell on that case had a weak spot that kept cracking and also had a small opening for the micro-USB cable).So far, I have loved the Slim Armor Case. It is very durable and provides excellent protection. Every issue that I had with my previous case (Neo Hybrid - would NOT recommend) has been resolved. Like the Neo, this is a dual-layer case with a soft TPU layer encased by a hard shell.Here's what I like:- It has an ample opening at the bottom to fit almost any micro-USB charger (Neo does NOT).- The back of the case is slightly curved so that the back speaker is not blocked. (The Neo is perfectly flat on the back which completely covers the speaker which muffles/mutes it.)-The TPU layer protrudes just enough from the front glass so that you can set your phone face-down on a flat surface without scratching it.- Craftsmanship and quality - this case feels like a hundred bucks. Both layers seem to be engineered and produced to fit perfectly with one another and the phone.- Value - Quality product for the price.- Offers relatively ample protection for how slim/low-profile it is. I take care of my phone and don't drop it often. If you are clumsy and/or treat your phone like crap, you may want to look at more rugged cases.My dislikes:- I have no functional dislikes.- I do not care for the glossy hard shell. It is too flashy for my taste, and I would prefer a matted color option that would be more subtle. (Obviously, not a deal-breaker for me.)If you are frustrated with your Neo Hybrid case or you're looking at one, get the Slim Armor instead.Note: This was cheaper on Amazon than Spigen's site at the time of my purchase. (Yes, I did receive an authentic Spigen product. Be careful of the knock-offs out there.)

The fit and finish of this case is excellent. It feels great in your hand. It offers superior protection while still allowing the phone to slid in and out of your pocket easily. It looks awesome. I love it.

After reading a lot of reviews and making sure it was a great product I bought this case and I am very pleased with it.This case does what its supposed to and does it very well (although I haven't dropped the phone yet).The case feel very strong, the side buttons are even better than the phone's and the rubber and plastic feel great in the hand and they don't scratch easily. In two months the case still looks brand new.The access holes are very well positioned. and give ample room for the USB connectors and headphones.I really love the slight protrusion near the phone speakers that allows the sound to be heard when the phone is on its back in a flat surface.The grip around the phone is also very good and the case doesn't add much weight or size to the phone. I find the phone better to handle and it feels less fragile as well.The Dante Red color is just amazing, really bright and if not the same is very very similar to Ferrari Red. I find myself just looking at the phone to admire. It's very striking and my friends say it looks really cool.I recommend this case to anyone with a Galaxy S4. It secures your phone and improves your experience with it.

Nice surprise that the delivery arrived earlier than expected. The case is really nice, but would like the sides to have ridges or rubber strip so it doesn't accidently slide out of the hand, but overall, great looking product and fites nicely around the phone.

Saw the phone case and instantly liked it. As I always do when buying online, I checked the reviews. I was immedietly concerned by the talk of fake Spigen cases of the wrong colour turning up in a plastic bag. I selected the seller 'Spigen SGP UK' (which does include a statement warning of fakes) hoping that this was genuine and when the case arrived (sooner than expected even using free delivery) I was relieved to see solid, high quality packaging including exactly what I had ordered.The case itself is just what I'd hoped it would be. It's an excellent fit for the phone and it's good and solid. It doesn't add much bulk to the phone but it is inevitebly slightly more chunky with the case. Not really a problem as the S4 is so slim anyway and it's well worth it as I'm not worried it'll slip out of my hand every time I use it.The case doesn't come with any screen protectors as some others do so I can recommend the matt finish, anti-glare 'SUPERGUARD'. They really work and you don't have any finger marks on the screen.

Very good case, though the colour started to wear off on the edges of the red part of the cover - after a year and a half of intensive use:)I've used it for over two years, feeling very secure about the SGS4. The feel in the hand was good, not too much bulk added to the phone - just as advertised. I know SGS4 is till on offer and I would strongly recommend this case if anyone happens to buy a new or used device (mine is as good as new and I'm sure the next user will own its great condition very much to the quality of this Spigen product). I'm certainly much inclined to look to Spigen for covers in future.To consider - some headphone jacks won't fit through the cutout on top of the case. For me it was a broad plug of some pro headphones. I guess the usual design is slim enough to fit in just right. BTW if anyone happens to use Pressy - it works well with this cover.
