Excellent Product if you manage your expectations for the price
The build quality overall is just good. The avocado-shaped retracting units are a bit noisy and adjusting them is a bit limited and awkward - eg.. you can't adjust them while you are in the middle of a retraction or it will malfunction and require a "reset". The videos that go with them really require a membership to access what is (in my mind) the few useful videos that make this a real go-to product (MOTR for Dancers is one even though I'm not a dancer) but there are work arounds if you know your way around recording videos from streaming. If owning a real reformer is not in the cards for you for all the real reasons the average person can't own one, this is an excellent alternative. It does not take much space and you get a lot of value. I can think of quite a few ways this unit could be improved upon but it's still a great deal if you are determined to use it regularly. A lot of these things people buy become coat racks, but this one is different. It is welcoming, effective and I don't dread doing it.

Love this device!
This motr product is the perfect device for small spaces. It definitely requires some research and training to determine all of the possibilities with the device. I wanted a reformer but didn’t have a lot of space. This was a great compromise.

A quality piece of pilates equipment for the serious exerciser.
This is a quality, well made piece of pilates equiprment.I use it with the balanced body videos, but a bar code scan will get you started on some workoutsAnd show you how to assemble this clever little unit!I am a pilates fanatic and I use this when I travel by car and want to stay up with my fitness goalsIt provides a good alternative when you do not have access to a reformer.Unlike a reformer, the Motr requires the user to provide much of the balance and stability themselves I see this as an added bonus/ challenge. It also work fairly well in a small space. At 30 lbs. it is not light weight, but the weight adds to the stability. This is a well made piece of excrcise equipment worth the price. It works muscles you did not know you had!I would recommend this piece of equipment.

Great little unit gives a big workout!
Great little piece of equipment for Pilates to mimic the reformer. Give a Big Bang for your buck. One downside- no instructions are included. Unless you are familiar with the MOTR, which I am, it may be confusing. There are videos online (free) and one is an instruction video.

Amazing pilates tool
I tried this in a pilates studio and LOVE it! Has so many options that rival a traditional reformer for a fraction of the cost and space. It came in two days of ordering, box and product were in pristine condition. And Amazon was the only place I could find it.

A bit awkward
This is a LOT more affordable than the Pilates classes I was taking, but I find it a bit awkward and the videos on their site are not very well done. I joined the 30 day free trial and they only have about 12 videos for the MOTR. I'm thinking paying the twenty bucks a month they want after this is NOT worth the money. These videos should be free after you've paid hundreds for the device. Also, in the videos, they expect you to be able to be looking at the screen the whole time, rather than giving you good instructions about what to be doing and that's just neck straining. Then when you do some of the moves, the whole contraption comes up. When you are standing up and using the weights on the arm thing, you have to be holding the roller down or it just pulls it along. For some of the moves, it seems like it could be done just as effectively without this thing. There are things on the market I wish I had seen before that are much cheaper and look a lot easier to use.

Great Way to Exercise at Home!
My husband and I are using the Motr and we are very happy with it so far. It doesn’t take up much room in our guest room and the exercise instruction cards are easy to follow.

Love My MOTR
The MOTR is a very nice piece of equipment. Very well made, and easy to use, you can easily move from one position to another. You have the options of changing the cable tension from 3, 6 to 9 lbs. for more resistance. It's a pilates and a light weight machine in one. Take the arm off and now you have a barbell with the added benefit of the pilates mindset of the stretch and tone. There are also lots of moves you can do beyond what they show on the video. Definitely great for a beginner and for anyone who wants to augment a heavier weight workout (6 to 15 lbs weights) with a lighter, lengthening / stretching routine. I also use various size weights and a total gym XLS and am very happy with this purchase.
