This flatware is highly polished (shiny), heavy, well balanced, graceful, stylish, elegant, unisex design (not frilly), durable, well made, is worth every penny and comes with a lifetime warranty against breakage! I love it. I choose Gorham because my mother has owned a Gorham Sterling Coffee and Tea Service for 40 years with no problems. It is still beautiful. I plan to hang onto this flatware for just as long. I strongly recommend this product. I don't know where it was made, but it is well made.

While I can't speak to dishwasher hardiness, these have kept their shine over the past few months. They are solid and a little heavy, but the weight is nice. They work for casual eating and have impressed my visitors for nicer dining.

I bought a few sets of these to fill in for some Gorham Tulip flatware we bought probably 15 years ago. It just disappears through the years, piece by piece. Anyway, they aren’t exactly the same shape, which is especially noticeable with the teaspoons. That’s not really why I’m giving them 3 stars. I’m doing that because these are lighter and flimsier feeling than the remaining pieces from our original set. They feel sort of “tinny” by comparison. I’m disappointed.

This is the second set I have purchased. I know it is pricy compared to the best sellers on amazon, BUT you get what you pay for! This set is definitely something that would last a long time.

It is a gift for a family member and very nice flatware. It matches what she already has. It was packaged well and got her very quickly.
