Certified Refurbished Echo (3rd generation) | Smart speaker with Alexa, Charcoal Fabric

Got a dot as a birthday present and quite impressed so thought i'd get another with even better sound. Sound is great, particularly when paired with a second for stereo but it keeps losing wifi connection while another 150cm away and further from the access point doesn't! Got the same problem with another Echo Dot that is in the same room as the wifi access point and 50 cm away. Makes no sense! Try to use the 'setup process but keeps saying that the password is wrong. I have to power off , leave for a short while then re-power before they re-connect.

We have had several echo dots around the house for a while and I wanted to buy one for the master bedroom - The price for an echo dot was £49.99 but I noticed this in the search for £43.99 - I thought I would give it a bit of a gamble a certified refurbished Echo (3rd gen) cheaper than an Echo dot. I am glad I did, the product is pretty much brand new! Had all of the plastic still wrapped and there isn't a single mark or any sign of use on the device. Glad I spotted this when I did as the price is now £80 for refurbished!

I really like the Amazon Echo 3rd Generation. It's my first Amazon Echo and I wish I had purchased one much sooner. It provides great sound and for the price it's worth every penny.My kids love it and it's useful for everything including general knowledge. You must get one. It's so much better than Google in my opinion. Alexa has a very realistic voice, which I like and she also alerts you to Amazon deliveries arriving today, which is very useful.Synced with other gadgets like Light bulbs and other appliances, it's a must have for those with a very smart device home. I'm glad I purchased one and you can setup privacy settings to suit you. You are in control.

I offer this in the hope of saving your sanity. (Too late for me). I bought a refurbished echo gen 3 to stereo pair with my existing one having previously paired two echo dots together with no trouble. I tried for ages trying to get the two echos to pair making all the checks and trying all the tricks suggested in the advice forums. No luck. Late in the day the refurbished one announced in the app that it needed a software update which took about 30 minutes. After that I got them to pair. It would have saved a lot of frustration if Amazon had done the update as part of the ‘refurbishment’. Just ask Alexa if there is a software update available.

Fails to play alongside other in stereo all the time. Both now fail to recognise speech. So disappointed.

Upgraded from 1 to this reconditioned 3. Comes perfectly packaged as if brand new. Can listen to online radio spotfly tune in etc. Has a great sound. You can always turn down bass or treble.Alexa does it for you. Smaller yet louder than the original back in 2016/7Wow the online shows from MI soul Zero Radio Stomp pot casts. This baby well worth the money for sure.Amazon have been extremely helpful to me indeed. If you need help they sort it out immediately especially on these and similar devices.This device can turn lights on n off plus other stuff. I’m just happy listening to online music, alarm, news as no technophobic am I.Thank you so very much Amazon plus for your support through these difficult times ;-) x

Really great sound particularly when setup as a stereo pair and yes it is real stereo channels separated, not just split. Not excessive bass bit a rounded sound and plenty loud enough for a 40m2 kitchen. Problems setting up stereo though with sw being really flakey. Got it in the end though.

I'd never had Alexa before so didn't expect to love it so much. Bought the refurbished as I know from experience that the refurbished / used items on Amazon are fine. Delivered yesterday earlier than expected. Looks great and I'm slowly getting the hang of it with some great plalists so far. We are currently in April and in the midst of Covid-19 and sunniest April ever - so listening to music in the garden has been brilliant this last couple of days :)
