NCIS: The Seventeenth Season

It was great to see Code Depablo come back for three more episodes.

Glad I found this seventeenth season. I have collected all the seasons of NCIS.

I have ordered off of them 3 times, the cd's in great shape plus mailed that day or next when ordered.

NCIS seems to be like a Phoenix since it survives every change of cast and loss of key show runners. I think this show has the best writers of all tv shows. Every episode has a different story to tell and the new characters bring an added dimension to the show as their back stories are slowly revealed over each episode. I intend to watch this show until the last episode and then relive it because I intend to own every season and watch them as often as I can.

It feels more than a little weird to be describing a television show in its’ seventeenth season as having a bounce-back season. But with all the cast changes over recent years, it’s reasonable to question whether time had finally caught up to NCIS as it does to every show. I know I have. But perhaps the old lion of Tuesday night television still has a few more years left in it.Ironically, the one big misstep for me was the NCIS team effort to reach out in an olive branch to long time fans in the three-four episode arc with the returning Ziva David (Cote de Pablo) which just fell flat for me. They were on much stronger ground when they moved forward. Most powerful to me was The Arizona guest starring Christopher Llyod as a sailor who steals a Purple Heart as part of a plot to be interned in The Arizona.Other standout episodes include: Blarney where Kasey and Jimmy are held hostage, In a Nutshell-just for the creative storytelling elements, Lonely Hearts-one of their more comedic episodes, Sound Off-for a unique angle of a crime suspect, Flight Plan-for just another unique crime angle, IRL-for incorporating elements of reality with gaming aspects, Institutionalized-Where the accusing finger is pointed at someone with an NCIS connection, and Wide Awake-Where hypnosis as a matter of crime or solving crime is put into question.NCIS proved that the champ isn’t done yet in Season 17 and made me feel optimistic for the first time in awhile.

We love everything about this series. We highly recommend it. The actors and the writers are amazing.

This item was unwatchable as the sound and ision was out of sync. A refund was requested and obtaine.

I love the show and I can't see it unless I buy the DVD package. The only bad thing is it was delivered at the wrong house
