A Very Good Start
We'll have to see if the rest of the series turns out to be an epic or not, but, for the first book in the series and the first story I've read from this author, it turned out quite entertaining! Yes, there are a few errors here and there, both technical and syntactical. But, in the end, the only question that ever applies to a story is, "Did it entertain me?" And, yes, it did. So much so that I bought the other three stories in the series on the strength of this one.

Pretty Good
To start I enjoyed the book, characters seem a bit bland at first but we'll see where they go. Premise wise it's somewhat cliché, but serves to get things rolling.Second , some minor editing, word choice errors, and sentence structure problems here and there. Nothing egregious, but still present.Largest complaint is the ending, like the book should be at least a chapter longer or an epiloge to wrap things up. I get that this is going to be a series judging by second book (I pre-ordered it) coming out shortly, but the ending is like turning off the t.v. 5 minutes before the an episode of whatever actually ends...left me feeling kind of awkward and unfulfilled.

Good start.
For one this is definitely part 1 of a book, not just a book series. Definitely needs to be finished. Firstly this I believe will be a good addition to the urban fantasy genre, with a few unique aspects that I have not seen before, which says something. However, the were a few mistakes that definitely show the author(s) are newer. Overall I recommend this to fans of the urban fantasy genre.*spoiler alert/question for the authorWhat happened to the hell hound. Last time we saw it was when it was in the living room. The book writes like the delivery was going to happen, but in no part of the last 15% of the book was it even mentioned...

Nice
A very descriptive and visual work, introducing us to a world, characters, and plot that slowly weave something really nice. It’s quality work, well written and edited, and the story promises interesting times ahead. Recommended (15+)

Enjoyable & Fun
It's a unique take on grim reapers which promises to contue developing. Likewise, character & world building are well under way by the end of the book. If a reader has any complaint then it would be that the book should be longer, since the ending seems to offer little in the way of a conclusion. Thankfully, as of my writing, the series appears to be a trilogy. It's more than enough to make me want to read the next book.

Good easy read
I like to read at work on my downtime and this was the perfect book. It was an easy read, I was able to get into it and I liked the characters. The book kind of just ends . I did but part 2 so let's see.But all in all I enjoyed it

Great book
Loved the book. Only complaint is that the main villain who only briefly appears at the end of the book feels like as many cliches as possible rolled into the least amount of space available and was very disappointing compared to the rest of the book which was very enjoyable. Hopefully he gets better development.

I couldn't get through it.
I liked the premise, but the thought process and exposition dumps of the main character were so childish that it was jarring. I read for a couple hours and gained no connection to the characters other then distain for how lazy they are. It felt like a teen angst book.Woe is me in this giant house that is paid for, I have no plan for achieving my dream of becoming an artist and I have to work a crappy job to pay bills. Oh, and I get to eat for free at a hibachi because they stabbed me.That he never considered renting out the house made me put the book down. No functioning adult should think like this. This is the thought process of a kid who hasn't had to research and problem solve. Not for me.

Very good read
Very good read. Not much meat and left me hungry. Looking forward to the next book and hopefully some story.

Its to little...
I really enjoyed the story but it feels more like the first 1/3 of the first book in a series. You will enjoy it but it seems far more reasonable to wait until the first arc is finished before you start reading
