Terrible product, do not buy!
Terrible product. Spent the money just to put everything in the trash. Does not close even halfway and we are left with over a 10cm gap at the top and another at the bottom. Not to mention when we actually try to close the zipper a little bit it causes to much tension and since the fabric is of course non-stretch the whole velcro starts to come off. Just doesn't work/doesn't of what it's supposed to.

Not bad
I wasn't expecting this to be very good if I am honest but it works really well. We use it to put the air conditioning hose through. It's a bit rough and ready and there are small gaps either side of the zip where the air con hose goes but for the price it's fine. We have not noticed any of the cool air escaping. I imagine a built in outlet through the wall would be the most efficient but for the seasonal job this will do, it is fine.

Fantastic
Couldn’t be more pleased with this seal it was really easy to install and adjust to the size of my air conditioning unit and window. It makes a remarkable difference in the time it takes to cool down the apartment and has made me wonder why I didn’t come across this product sooner. After showing it to me my dad even he has now ordered one to put in his house!

Very adaptable and easy
Very easy and adaptable but leaves some holes between the tube and the zip. But very easy!

Great product, just the zip broke far too quickly
Stronger zip required.

rubbish
'wish I had listened to the other reviewers... this product is utter rubbish and a complete waste of time & money, though considering its country of origin I suppose that's hardly surprising.

So easy to install, works brilliantly, windproof
I thought I would try this as my Mother has an air conditioning unit, and she is forever complaining about having to put the hoze out and in and all that.I also think this would work tremendously well for a tumble dryer hose, as long as you have hte right kind of windows - sliding up and down, or sliding side to side, or as in this case a top lever window. We tried it on a window that opens normally outward, and you are left with a little triangle of a gap at the top which is not ideal - and they are super clear on the product page that this is for sliding windows only, but we thought we would give it a try.I have included photos with this review so you cans ee what I am talking about...1. you get the cover, which can be cut to a number of pre-defined lengths, an instruction booklet, a roll of sticky back velcro and 4 very long cablt ties.2. The back of the cover has the soft part of velcro already sewn on, so you just need to measure your window width for up and down sliding windows, or height for side to side sliding windows - or in our case the width for a top lever window. we recommend putting the sticky backed velcro on the cut to size cover before removing the paper that covers the sticky - trust me, it will make your life so much easier ( see photo)you just need to velcro it on, we did the short sides first, cutting the velcro neat to the edge of the cover, and hte long sides last. In our pack there was about 3 cm sticky backed velcro left and we used hte largest possible size ( i.e. we did not need to cut the cover along the predefined length options) so there is a little spare but plenty if you use a smaller size cut for your windows.3. There are 4 zips on the fabric allowing you to have one very long slit, or two slits open, adjustable within the zip area(see photo)4. We celaned hte windowframe ( which is what you are aattaching to) with hot soapy water, rinsed, and then went over with a little bit of white spirit to ensure there was no grease, let it dry, before trying to attach the sticky back of hte velcro, this was all in an effort to keep it stuck on the smooth pvc windowframes. Now, I am not sure what kind of sticky is on this particular velcro, but we have used very similiar velcro to put up a big mesh window in the conservatory so the window could be open but no mozzies could get in, so not the same, but very similar, and that lasted until it rained and a day or two later it fell off, so will update this review after it has rained a bit and we will see if it stays stuck, but at present it seems well and truly stuck on.Fear not, as it is sticky backed, if you decide you no longer want it for some reason and unvelcro-ing is not enough you want the whole lot gone, you can always remove stucky things with some sticky stuff remover, or a little petrol from the lawnmower - but do test it as not all pvc frames will withstand a solvent.5. Once you have it firmly stuck and we would suggest leaving it there for an hour to make sure it is well and truly stuck, especially on very hot or cold days the humidity can be an issue sometimes, and velcro'd on, then you just need to decide where you want your hose or hoses to go - theoretically you could put two out the same cover, due to the length of the zip area and the fact the manufacturer has thoughtfully allowed 4 zips that you can slide about to your hearts desire.6. Once you have your hose in place you can then decide, if you so wish, to use one of the 4 really long zip ties generously provided. Our use of htis was for Mum's air conditioner, which, by the time we requested this, she had already packed away (only does cold air, not hot) but she said we could put the cover up and take photos, so it is ready for when she does want it - heatwave in october perhaps ;-)Attaching the zip ties is super easy - simply slide the smooth end into one of the zips next to your hose, wrap it around said hose, through the zip on the other side of the hose, and then through the zip ties own knobbly bit at the end ( like a belt loop)and gently pull it through ( it will ratchet its way through the one way bumps, so go slowly as you cannot go back wihtout cutting it off - maybe that is why they kindly provided 4?. Once you have it snug enough to stop your hose from moving about it will be snug enough to stop any hose movement from opening the zip, and voila, you are ready.I am thinking of how I can use this for my tumbledryer hose, sadly I only have normal outward opening windows, but this is such a good idea, and if I can figure it out, it would save me a fortune on heating, as I would not have a big draught of cold winter air coming in when I am using hte tumble dryer..mmmmm....I am going to peruse on this further, this is such a jolly good and simple yet effective idea, I have not seen it elsewhere.it is the strength of the velcro connection that appeals to me, as long as the sticky back does not give way, I think this will easily stand up to normal british winter windsThe price might put some people off trying this, currently as I write this it is at £17.99, however if it improves your air conditioning from your air conditioning unit, or reduces those icy draughts for those of us with a tumbledryer that does not have an outside vent but a hose, I think you might find this will absolutely be worth it.
