I was concerned about a couple of comments that other people had posted. After using it for a week this is what I have to add to theirs, you must follow the directions explicitly! You must use a dime size blob of the gel in each contact and use your finger to spread it so that it covers the contacts completely so that the electrical impulses transfer smoothly into your muscles. If you don't it is very uncomfortable-I made that mistake once. I removed it and reapplied the gel and it was just fine. You must inflate it properly so that it is firmly in place and has good contact with your vaginal wall otherwise it does not produce a full muscle contraction because it is not making good contact. I know that the information said to use it 10 minutes per day 6 times per week and you should see results within a few weeks. I had already been to my doctor and discussed the options, pills, surgery and urology physical therapy. The pills and surgery both have many negative side effects and potential problems besides being expensive long term. The urology physical therapy was embarrassing and a complete waste of time. The doctor thought that I was being lazy or not trying and made me feel worse about myself, if that was actually possible. I couldn't isolate my muscles to do kegels properly or my muscles were so lax that they couldn't contract on their own to the point of doing any good. Kaiser would not prescribe this device and through my research I firmly believed that this had a chance of helping so I decided that I would pay for it myself and not get the one that required a physician approved rx. I was skeptical, but I thought if there is a chance of ANY real improvement it would be worth the purchase price. I've had my Apex M for a week and used it the last 6 days for 10 minutes as directed. I have not gotten up to run to the bathroom during the night for the last 3 days and I was getting up 1-2 times per night at least prior to this, so I am much more rested in the morning. I am not leaking urine when I sneeze, cough, jog, step down-not at all, no more embarrassment and worry. My husband is very happy with the results thus far and has made comments about the improvements from his perspective. I can't wait to throw out my tub full of an assorted pads and liners. I am looking forward to the release of the app for android phones for tracking improvement. I love my Apex M and have already told several friends about it who suffer from the same problem. Unfortunately many women have just come to accept that after turning 50 and after having given birth to multiple babies that this is just how it is. Don't settle for that!

Was so excited to try this and rid myself of panty liners, however this is not to be. This device was extremely painful to insert and once in I barely noticed and contractions. I almost think because it was so painful I wouldn’t have been able to feel any anyway. I’m sure this works for some, but not me. Unable to return so I have a very expensive item just sitting under the bed.

Where has this device been the last 20 years of my life. It works fantastic. Worth every cent of the money spent.

It's a little clumsy, but I am amazed at the effectiveness. I don't have any investment in this company, so no reason to fabricate anything. I'm 3 weeks in, and I am a new person. I don't know if it will work for you, but it did for me and I'm thrilled!

I have been using this for about a month now. I am definitely noticing a difference. I am NOT having to wear pee pads anymore when I venture out. I use it every morning for 10 minutes. I started at the 3rd setting and am now up to the highest (5). It was definitely a weird sensation when I first started, but I am used to it now. Not having to wear pee pads anymore is great.

very uncomfortable to use..I tried all positions...still uncomfortable and very hard to use controls since you have to hold in place..I ended up getting a infection from the gel that has to be used..so if you are very sensitive to products being inserted into the vagina I don't recommend..especially if you are allergic to latex Do not Use..overall opinion I didn't see any results other than getting a yeast infection ans skin rash which both together are very uncomfortable..also if you are little this thing is very big in diameter

I’ve been using this for bladder urgency for a month. Unfortunately it doesn’t help. I took a chance and lost.

I’ve been an athlete all my life so I know the benefits of physiotherapy. When I read about this product I thought I would give it a chance as it sounded familiar to therapies I have had on various muscles to recuperate from injury.It is such a relief to find a cure for my problem. I am only now using the product for round two as round one was so effective. I used it maybe five times when I got it and I was good to go for two months. I did not do the maintinance routine so I felt I needed it again lately and only after two uses there is a huge improvement.After round one I went travelling so didn’t use it as per instructions but I found the biggest effect was about two weeks after my first five uses. I tried to do my own keigle exercises after I used it and that helped a lotThere is some pain when you start using the product but the more you use it the better it gets. Be careful to gel it up properly and the angle of the insertion seems to make a difference. It took me a number of tries but I find sitting up slightly is a better angle for meWhen I first use it I couldn’t feel the full contraction as it says in the instructions. But after a number of uses it gets stronger. I believe it is because the muscles start out so week it needs time to get to full. The more full the contraction the less uncomfortable the devise is.Lesson here is no pain no gain however the gains come quick and the reward is huge.

this thing is made of fairly hard unforgiving firm rubber. Painful to insert. Think they would make it out of softer material.

I recieved the product. Note the picture implys that there is a instruction CD, That did not come in the package.

When I ordered this, the DVD was missing. I remarked upon this and I am happy to say that I have received the DVD today.

The device itself was good, but no DVD?Seems to be a problem as many others have had the same issue.
