Halo 5: Guardians Collector's Edition Strategy Guide: Prima Official Game Guide

I will give it 5 stars because it does it goes as far in depth as you'd expect (although it lacks any sort of guide which caters to LASO), and it does its job as a good looking, hard cover collector's edition. Fits in well next to my Metal Gear Solid V collector's guide, and will look even better alongside the Fallout 4 Vault Dweller's guide soon to come.

I honestly didn’t think that I needed this but it’s a great way to help enjoy the game. Fully colored and nicely designed. If you are into HALO then you should consider this book to expand your knowledge and understanding of this game.

This was a christmas gift for my husband. He loves it!There is so much content and he is currently still reading it. Great addition to his gaming library.I highly recommend this to anyone who loves this game. My husband breathes all of the halo games and he was super excited to receive this.

Very detailed strategy book. Son loves it. Makes a great gift for any Halo 5 player's collection.

I love this guide a lot, it makes it so easy to find all collectibles and weapons including data pads. The guide is masterfully detailed and I like that in a collectors edition guide such as this:)

tralasciando il contenuto della guida vorrei anche io come altri utenti prima di me dire un paio di cose dal punto di vista qualitativo del libro.la rilegatura del libro non è male ma passare da quella di halo 4 con le rilevature in copertina a questa liscia non è esattamente il massimo.la carta interna è assolutamente di qualità mediocre come del resto molte delle stamte interne. in alcune immagini non dico che si contano i pixel ma poco di manca.essendo una guida da collezzione ed essendo un fan di halo l'ho comprata (a metà prezzo) ma la sconsiglio vivamente data la scarsa qualità di realizzazione e dei materiali.

La guida si presenta come al solito per questo genere di giochi ovvero una parte dedicata alla campagna ed una parte al multiplayer.Al di la delle caratteristiche più o meno standard però vorrei solo porre l'accento sulla qualità esteriore ovvero copertina e qualità della carta.Se è vero che un libro non lo si può giudicare dalla copertina è pur vero che stiamo parlando di oggetti da collezione e che richiedono anche un esborso non banale.Ebbene mi vedo costretto a far presente che la qualità della carta non è all'altezza di altre guide tra l'altro della stessa Prima games.Basta ad esempio fare un breve confronto con la guida di Halo 4 ovvero il predecessore (edita sempre da Prima Games) per rendersi conto di quanta sia la differenza in termini di cura realizzativa.Copertina più spesso con dettagli in rilievo e spessore della carta almeno del doppio (ad occhio direi 100gr/m2 per Halo 5 e 160gr/m2 per la guida di Halo 4.Questa diversa qualità porta ad un risparmio netto per l'editore che però non so riflette sul prezzo del prodotto finale.Di conseguenza si ha un prezzo delle guide che di listino sono passate dai 29.99 ai 34.99 in questi mesi a fronte di una qualità inferiore.Di certo questo non renderà inutile l'oggetto ma per un collezionista credo che la cosa debba essere evidenziata se non altro per sottolineare un trend crescente come prezzo (al netto dei prezzi spesso scontati di Amazon) ed il trend discendente come qualità (un altro esempio è dato dalla guida di The Witcher 3 che però cercava di compensare per così dire con un secondo libretto).Anche in questo caso vi sono dei "bonus" come ad esempio la guida digitale compresa così come due toppe a tema Halo.Non voglio quindi dire che non valga la pena acquistare l'oggetto o che il prezzo sia assolutamente sproporzionato ma porre l'accento su un trend negativo da parte di Prima games che quindi come qualità si sta distanziando dagli editori top in fatto di guide come FuturePress (serie Dark Souls e Bloodborne ad esempio) ma anche Piggyback che di recente ha realizzato l'ottima guida di Metal Gear 5.Questi due editori sono a mio avviso ad oggi i due punti di riferimento del settore.

It also explains in detail about weapons and enemies which can aid new gamers (Halo 5 is a game which is so mature and doesnt instruct players on how they should play with each weapon type or deal an enemy which is primarily letting gamers choose their own play style).The Guide also has the basic multiplayer modes covered, unfortunately Warzone Firefight and new match modes would not be covered herein nor in the e-guide when I checked during the time of this writing.Bonus Content: The guide features two exclusive embroidered patches and a intermediate REQ pack. The REQ pack for me contained the Prima Logo(Legendary which is common for all), an uncommon body armor and a warzone random weapon.The Bonus content needs to be redeemed through prima's eguide site, so upon the E-Guide activation, the REQ pack code gets generated which needs to be redeemed on the XBOX marketplace.
