Perfect for Infusions!
Frontier has been my consistent go-to company to buy spices in high quality and bulk and these cinnamon chips are no exceptions! Now these aren't going to be useful for baking into muffins as you'd want a good powder instead and not as pretty as a rolled stick you can grind or use as garnish, but these ARE perfect for infusing cinnamon into liquids like I do. See, I like making Medieval Hypocras wine and I don't care to use powdered cinnamon as it's messy to filter out and sticks are too expensive to just smash up in a mortar and pestle. These chips however are perfect for this task. Easy to measure to the grams in a home made paper tray on my scale and just pour into my wine I want to infuse. The taste of these chips is sharp and spicy and a much stronger flavor than anything you could get in most stores, unless that store carries Frontier that is. Great flavor, easy to measure, easy to use, easy to filter out later and best of all, the price is excellent per pound!

Excellent antioxidant
Mixing the cinnamon chips with your tea allows you to customize the flavor and aroma to your liking. You can experiment with different tea varieties, such as herbal or black tea, to find your perfect blend. The warm, comforting scent of cinnamon can create a cozy ambiance, perfect for unwinding after a long day. Cinnamon has been traditionally used to ease anxiety and stress. The active compounds in cinnamon, such as cinnamon may help to calm the mind and body.

Handy & A Good Value
My 4-star rating is specific to the way I use these, which is in brewing spiced tea. The flavor is quite nice, but I liked Frontier's 1" cinnamon sticks (which I couldn't find this time around) a bit better in terms of overall convenience. That doesn't mean you shouldn't buy these cinnamon chips. They're flavorful and convenient, and they might be much better than the 1" sticks in some applications.

Wonderful aroma and flavor
NOTE TO BROWSERS: THESE ARE NOT SWEET BAKING CHIPS FOR COOKIES, THIS IS BARK. TOO MANY DON'T READ THE DESCRIPTION AND DOWNVOTE A GREAT PRODUCT DUE TO THEIR OWN ERRORS! The package came quite beat up, but none of the damage seemed to be a full puncture of the bag. The product itself is delicious, and the bag so large the chips will last a very long time. I use these to steep with loose tea, and the flavor is so powerful that I can reuse these chips many times over before they lose their strength. I'll be trying them in some hot cocoa next. I highly recommend, as these types of cinnamon chips are hard to find. I will be restocking this in the future!

Delicious
I use these cinnamon chips to infuse the hot water I pour into my yerba mate.I knew as soon as I opened the bag that I was going to like these, the smell is wonderful. They did a great job of adding cinnamony goodness to my water. You can't mix good cinnamon powder with water, it's too oily and won't mix. These chips float around and let off their oil gradually - the longer you let it sit the more cinnamon flavored the liquid will become.Works best with hot water.Good for infusing:* Tea* Hot chocolate* Soups such as squash or chicken* Liquids that will later go into baked goodsAlways strain out the chips before adding to a baked good or before serving/mixing up soups. Think of it like loose leaf tea - the pieces aren't meant to be eaten directly, only to add flavor.I do wish someone would do this with Vietnamese cinnamon, but I suppose it may not hold up well in this form.
