Touch Screen Replacement For LG Optimus G Pro E980 (Black)

I just finished installing this and the fit and functionality are great. I'm dinging 1 star because it's not OEM but at this price, it's a good solution. The main difference that I can see so far is that swiping the screen is not as smooth as OEM (but it beats using a cracked screen!) Luckily installation involves tape only. No need to remove a layer of adhesive like the G2 and others. This was my first attempt at repairing a screen and it was an intermediate-level 90 minute job. Reviewing tutorials online helped too.

Good product, lots of tools and the tape included. Only drawback was the back didn'nt have a tab to remove the protective film. A tad unnerving for some one who's never replaced one before. Really happy with thr result though. Quick delivery. Good product.

The first one I received didn't work; however, the seller responded to me quickly with a replacement, and it works well. I would have given it 5-stars (especially since the seller's customer service is excellent), but there are sporadic times in which the touch screen stops responding and I have to reset it...better than having my old cracked screen though!

Took 15 days to arrive from date of order, but expected that much based on prior reviews and ship from location.Screen arrived well wrapped in bubble wrap, screen protected on both sides by plastic, and even included a tool set (although half of the plastic pieces had broken by end of install). No installation instructions, but those were easy enough to find online.Installation was easy although a bit tedious. Overall it took me 30-40 minutes to complete.The only thing to note is that tape strips or glue was not provided and is required to complete install. I found a general purpose clear glue at Michaels (Elmers Craft Bond Ultra Stix All) that seems to have worked well. There may be better options, but that was the best I could find a my local store.Phone is up and working and screen function is identical to the original. In my opinion it is well worth the time to replace yourself given what shops charge to do the same.

Purchased this as a second replacement for my screen as the first replacement got damaged when I replaced the tape seal around it. It was supposed to be brand new but it had scratches already on both sides of the screen. They aren't too noticable and they do not affect the performance, but it was either not brand new as advertised or it got scratched during packaging somehow. Since it was already scratched I haven't ordered a screen protector for it quite yet...not sure if I will. It did fit perfectly and works like it should so 3 stars it get from me.

product came on time and it was just as i was expecting. it also came with extra tools for repair. i loved the entire packaging also

If you do not already understand how to disassemble your LG, PLEASE, SAVE YOURSELF FROM FAILURE. Research proper instruction to perform this repair correctly!!!IMO:*Quality glass replacement.*No delay in processing the order.*Package was received in small sturdy box containing: Glass rolled in a sheet of plastic bubble wrap and a receipt with order details, contact information, and also a website for install help.Unfortunately, this is not a useful reference. It was the right purchase for me, no complaints at all.
