Ditch the Wallet and go slim with the cool-as-the-other-side-of-the-pillow Wallet Slayer Vol. 1. Your ID, credit cards, and cash all securely fit against your phone-everything you need in one place. But will it protect your phone? That's like asking if tacos are better with salsa. With ultra-light and durable construction it's both thin and protected. Featuring mega-grippy sides and corner air-pockets (think airbags for your iPhone) It truly corners The market on protection, and corny jokes. Get your daily baggage under control and let the Wallet Slayer simplify your life.

really good, not quite perfect
I debated between this case and a wallet folio case, finally deciding on the Smartish Wallet Slayer Vol 1 because the folio clasp would get annoying to open all the time when checking for messages, and it seems less than ideally comfortable to hold folded open for doing old school phone things like making a call.Anyway, the Wallet Slayer is almost everything I hoped for, with a little room for improvement that is not worth docking a star. I realized while looking at cases, smartphones are similar to flat screen TV's in that the thickness is the least important thing, but is among the most pushed "features." I've never been in a room where someone said, "I'm sure glad my TV doesn't stick out further from the wall," (when all the A/V equipment and shelves do!), just like few have complained about the thickness of the phone making it difficult to stick in a pocket. (It's the height that is almost always the issue.) The shape of the Wallet Slayer's rear compartment actually makes it contour to your hand better. Imagine trying to hold a thin, flat backed remote control...1) The textured sides are nice, but some of that texture on the back would help a little. It lacks the grippy quality I expected after using a silicone case. Consider this a very minor gripe.2) Like others have mentioned, the power button lacks any sort of click-y feedback. It works, but you're never quite sure it registered.3) I have a fairly thick ZAGG Invisible Shield glass+ screen protector, and the case is basically flush with its height. A little more case height up top would be good, to keep the screen protector from getting chipped by any accidental contact.4) The back is flat when the card pouch is empty, but it does bulge out a little in the middle from the pressure of the "spring" on cards. The spring thingy does work quite well at holding a varied amount of cards in, so it's only an aesthetics complaint. The Wallet Slayer Ver 2 with its synthetic leather card pouch probably helps with that, but I was leery of reviews saying it stretches and can't really be used for fewer cards afterward.I can't comment on durability, as I haven't dropped it and don't care to!

I’d buy it again for sure.
This is THE BEST phone case I’ve ever had. It fits the phone perfectly. It’s really good looking. It’s pretty tough. The wallet design is absolutely perfect. If there’s only one card in the wallet, it holds the card as well as if there were three cards. And the wallet is very discreet. Great value for the price. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PHONE COVER/WALLET.

I normally use the Speck products, but couldn't find the one I normally get for my older iphone SE 2020.This fits perfectly and holds cards well.Highly recommend!

NO MORE WALLET!
My wife and I have had this style from this company for 4 years before this one. We got this to look good with our new SE3s. We haven't carried or needed a wallet since I bought the first one. I will note my 4 stars for durability was because the plastic on the face above the lightning port broke off on both of the original ones. May not happen on this one and caused no real problem on the originals.

effective for what I wanted to do
It seems to protect my phone well and it holds my license and two additional cards perfectly, along with a spare folded bill for emergencies. I definitely met my expectations. Cards stay in very nicely and are still easy to access. Great product.

Incredibly durable - outlasted 2 phones!
I bought this case to replace the same exact case I bought over 4 years ago. 4 years! Of constant, daily use! The case outlasted 2 phones!I bought the first case for my iPhone 6s, and it lasted the entire life of the phone (2 years) with no problems. I then bought the iPhone 8s, which was the same size and could fit the same phone case. It lasted the 2+ years that I kept that phone as well. I then got the iPhone SE (2020), and since it is the same size as the 6s and 8s, I used the same case. Shortly after I transferred the case to the SE, it started to come apart around the volume buttons on the phone. The quality and durability far surpassed what I expected or even hoped for. The new version I bought (which is the subject of this review), is identical in quality and design as the old one, meaning that unless Apple revives the same size phone 2 years from now, this case will outlast the brand new iPhone SE that I just got. How many people have cases that outlast the phones? Twice?I was concerned years ago that as the case aged, the credit cards would be able to slip out accidentally with normal use. In over 4 years of constant use, that NEVER HAPPENED. Not once. There is a sort of clamp that keeps the cards securely in place, but that doesn’t make removing the cards difficult. The only times cards accidentally came out — and there were only a handful of times — was when the phone fell in exactly the right way such that the force of the fall bounced the cards out of the holder.FYI: I keep 2 credit cards and my NYS driver’s license (which is slightly thinner than a credit card) in my case. The case won’t hold more than 3 cards, and I can’t speak to how well it would keep 2 or 1 cards secure. I’ve always held 3 cards. I will say that the case did cause wear on the edge of a credit card after about 12 months of use. The edge will catch and wear on the plastic clamp inside the pocket that holds the cards. You can either put up with that wear and replace the card when this happens, or else there is a way to carefully put cards in so they don’t experience that wear — a bit of pressure on the cards to angle them slightly away from the plastic clamp inside the pocket will do it. I have not had any wear on my cards in years after making that minor change in habit.Speaking of that, it should be mentioned that I never had any real damage done to my phone from a drop while this case was in it. I take good care of my phones, but occasional drops happen, and this case successfully protected my phone every time. Add a good quality screen protector, and your phone will look brand new after 2 years of use, like BOTH my 6s and 8s looked when I was done with them.I can’t recommend this case highly enough. I never carry a wallet anymore. My phone stays protected. My credit cards don’t slip out. The case will outlast 1 or even 2 phones. What more could you possibly want?

Cards stay put, and so does the phone!
I had a snap case card holder on my previous phone, with a little pocket that opened up and closed again to give you access to the cards. It worked great, but I got a different model phone, and so had to find a new case. This one, with the cards where they are, I thought was possibly going to let the cards fall out, so I was a bit wary, but the reviews were good. Cards have proven to be secure. I keep 3-4 in there, including a charge card, my license, a health insurance card, and sometimes a club membership card. They fit very well. The case has been quite protective as well. I'm very pleased!

Good case so far
My wife bought this case to replace a similar Speck case that started coming apart (we both got that case when we got our iPhone 8 models, and it was crap. Mine fell apart first and I got a different one, but I might get this one now). So far it's working great for her, and seems way more durable. Also we tested it with my wireless Qi charging pad, and it charges her phone even with three cards in it. She'll probably be putting a metal pad on it to use a car mount so the wireless wouldn't work anymore (unless you buy one of those expensive magnetic Qi car mounts) but at least for me I know it'd work with my charger if I get this case for myself. Which I probably will!

I don’t carry a wallet anymore
Fits 4 cards. I use Apple Pay mostly anyway so I just keep one card in here just in case somewhere I go doesn’t accept tap. It has a little mechanism that keeps the cards secure in the slot but if you only keep 1 card in, it will fall out. Use 2-4, 5 occasionally but it’s a serious stretch.

Favourite case!
I LOVE this case. My iPhone 7 has been donning it for over a year now and it still holds up like new (minus a few scratches here and there). I stash 4 cards in it, and even slapped a pop-socket on the back, but after so long I barely notice the extra bulk. The gray colour looks super slick against a black phone. Honestly, no major complaints, but I took off a star on durability since the corners are starting to degrade a bit.

Best case
you can cram about 4 cards into this... it is amazing, they don't fall can still scan (Presto/work card). now if we can get a battery pack with the cards slots... i'd be in love
