OTTERBOX COMMUTER SERIES Case for iPhone 6/6s - Frustration FRĒe Packaging - PURPLE AMETHYST (PERIWINKLE PURPLE/LIBERTY PURPLE)

Had a Defender on my 5C for the last 2 years but I was concerned about the bulk on a bigger phone so I wanted something trimmer. My husband got this case when he got his 6S and he swears by it so I tried it out. Like other reviewers I received a slightly bent case. The outer hard piece doesn't settle into the softer interior piece as well as my Defender case did. It's only slightly off so I don't feel this affects the ability of it to protect my phone. I do think it's more of a packaging department issue though and with as many complaints about the condition of these cases, they should really look into why so many were in bad condition.Also like other reviews, the slick feel of the back of the case is a little concerning and it has slid around numerous times on surfaces. But it's only slipped out of my hand a couple of times and, while they were minor drops, there was no damage to the phone or case. Again a superficial issue that doesn't affect the protection the case gives but my phone might not need that protection so much with an anti-slip grip on the back. If you are accident prone then I suggest looking at the Defender instead.I bought a tempered glass screen protector instead of using the one they send, for no other reason than I prefer extra protection. Husband uses the generic one and has had no problems with it.

I don't like bulky or heavy phone cases. I find that many phone cases are tiring to hold, or don't fit into those little pockets in your purse. However, I tend to carry my phone in my hand, which means I often drop it, so I needed some protection.For me, the OtterBox brand means high quality protection. I was concerned that this case would be bulky, ugly, and look like something I would carry rock climbing. Several product reviews mentioned that the case is slim, and looks attractive, and as the cost is very reasonable, I decided I would try the Commuter Series 6/6S case.This is a great case! I chose the purple lavender color, and it is a pretty, fashionable hue. The case lives up to its OtterBox name, as it is clear my phone is well protected. I suspect the next time I drop my phone, it will just softly bounce. The case is pretty, functional, and light, and offers great protection -- it is exactly what I was looking for!I also chose the Amazon frustration free packaging, which was nice -- no excessive plastic packaging or need for a chainsaw to open.

I bought this for my mom. She said she wanted one of these cases for her phone but really did not want to pay close to 40 dollars for this type of case at her local phone store. So i mention i could probably find her the same brand case one amazon for a lot cheaper because i use find same products on amazon for half the price. So i started searching and showing her cases on amazon and stumbled across this one for just under 20 dollars and i told her if you have a debit card or something i can just purchase it for you and have it shipped to her address and that is what i did. She got it on time as described and said it was exactly what she wanted. She said it was exactly the same as the 40 dollar one she use to have previously and said it will work for her perfect. So she is happy i am happy. I would recommend this case specially if you can save some money. I hope my review could be helpful.

This case saved my phone!! Yesterday at a pit stop on a road trip I set my phone on top of my car while I was fueling up. I told myself not to forgot it but of course I did. We were just a title ways down the road (but had hit probably 70mph) when I realized what I had done. I immediately stopped and checked but couldn't find my phone. I returned to the gas station and when I still couldn't find it I drove slowly along the side of the highway looking for it. About 3/4 of a mile down the road I saw it laying in the middle of the highway. When I picked it up I was amazed to find the phone had survived just fine. The case was cracked and thanks to a screen protector there is a tiny little scratch on the corner of the screen otherwise the phone is in perfect shape! I immediately ordered another case just like it to replace this one. I can replace the case much more easily than I could the phone. Love this case!!

I'll say that I used to be very against Otterbox because of how it looked with the iPhone 4. I thought it was too bulky, and the design was ugly. I thought it made the iPhone look like a brick. Plus, 50 bucks for a phone case just seemed ridiculous.However, I decided to order an Otterbox for my iPhone 6, after dropping my phone and breaking the glass screen protector.I was shocked when I opened the box--I ordered the case used (8$), but it looks brand new.The design itself is an improvement from the previous generations. It's not so bulky, and it actually looks nice. That's probably due to the fact that the iPhone 6 is pretty slim itself, but still.I have yet to drop my phone, and the case doesn't have a front, but with a spare glass screen protector, I don't have much to worry about.One more thing--the case arrived early, and currently we're getting 10 inches of snow. The deliverer was a trooper. XD

I have always been an OtterBox fan when buying phone cases, and this one doesn't disappoint. I have had it for about two years now and haven't had any issues with it. One of the corners of the outer shell layer did break off, but it was due to it getting caught on something. OtterBox does sell replacement shells, but it's just a small chip and the case still functions fine. The back also did wear down a little bit, probably from being in my pocket, but it still looks good. I'm not currently using this case because I recently got a new case, but I still have it and may very well use it again at some point down the road. It fits my iPhone 6s snug and its color matches the picture. My favorite feature is the little plug things on the bottom that keep debris from getting in the outlets on the bottom.

Recibi la funda hace días y la he usado. La pedi en color morado y lila. Se ve hermosa, es delgada. A mi gusto creo debería tener un poco más de fricción en la parte de atrás, a veces siento que se me puede resbalar. Pero me ha gustado mucho.Recomendada!!!!

I originally wasn't going to order this case because of the bad reviews on the fit being too loose. It fits perfect-no gaps. Easy to put on. There were also complaints of the case breaking. I think if you change cases a lot or take it off there's a chance it could break (which is covered under the amazing warranty). The case is meant to be left on to protect your phone. The colour is more in the blue (think cornflower) tones but still very pretty. I won't use the plastic screen protector but overall I'm very pleased with the case and definitely the price!! A must have for your iPhone 6 for protection. Fits in the pocket inside my purse and my pants pockets. Just got it today but I'm sure I will continue to enjoy it.

Ordered the  OtterBox COMMUTER SERIES iPhone 6/6s Case - Frustration-Free Packaging - SKY SHADOW (AQUA BLUE/GUNMETAL GREY)  for this phone as a gift for my husband; he has used it every day for almost two years. Loves the protection the phone gets from a case with such a slim profile. Easy to assemble and take apart (for cleaning). Provides good protection from everyday bumps and knocks, there is no sign of cracking or tearing along edges or corners. Flap at the bottom protects the charging port from debris in pockets, etc. Great range and combination of colours that personalize the phone. 2 corners of this fell off within the first couple months, unknown why. I do tend to drop my phone every once in a while so at least it wasn't my phone that was broken.

Not a bad phone case, definitely not the best! It does as advertised as far as falls and body damage of the phone but even with the case on, I got a crack in my new phone screen. Even though it comes with a screen protector, it was incredibly difficult to put on properly without an air bubble in the screen. If you're looking for a cheaper but still protective phone case, I would recommend it but if you're willing to spend a little extra, definitely don't get this case!
