Martha Stewart Crafts Decorative Boxes, Pine Cone

These are fabulous, they were packaged well and exactly as described. These are replicas of early 20th century paper mache pinecone candy containers that were usually hung on the Christmas tree for each child and would have been filled with candies of the day. I plan on lining them with rice paper edged with Dresden trims and then painting the exterior and applying German glass glitter.

I bought these after seeing a gorgeous feature in Martha Steward Living on christmas cookies. I bought the walnut molds as well that made the cookies in the picture. So stunning--I got lots of comments. But these little boxes can not practically be used to wrap cookies unless you feel that 2 cookies is a nice gift. I would use them for small presents such as jewelry. They are well made and easy to decorate, though the packing meant they arrived a bit squashed and it wasn't so easy to get them back into the intended shape.

They are gift boxes, charming, painted them, put homemade truffles inside.

Great seller, cones came very quickly and in good condition. Very nice product and reasonably priced. Most of the Martha Stewart merch. is really nice.

The bozes are flimsy, when received they were too bent out of shape to close and stay closed. Cannot use them.

Eigentlich wollte ich die Zapfen für Weihnachten und Herbst dekorieren und füllen. Das ist, nach dem zwar sehr schnellen Versand, jetzt leider nicht mehr möglich - die Zapfen sind bei mir fast platt angekommen. Schade eigentlich.....
