I don't know what it is about these pens, but I have to buy them constantly because they are the only ones that my husband and my three college-age kids , will use. The drying time is perfect with no smearing, the versatility is good as they are used for classwork, letter writing, sketching, etc. The fine point is what my family prefers and so we always get the .7mm. The pens write smoothly and the material that they are made of is sturdy and won't break in your book bag or purse.

These pens write very smooth but sometimes the ink goes dry while writing but only for a few seconds. Great pens.

I wanted to purchase some blue pens because for whatever reason, my household only has black pens. I also wanted fine point because when I use fine point my handwriting just comes out much better. The reviews for this pen seemed to be mostly good so I purchased it. So glad I did. I love the color of the blue, and with it being fine point, my handwriting is actually nice looking. Regular ball point pens, cause my writing to look thick and sloppy. I haven’t experienced any sort of skipping or ink not coming out while riding with it. I’ve tested how quickly it dries by writing a quick sentence and then closing my journal; then opening again. It dries quickly because I haven’t experienced the ink transferring to any other pages. These are very good quality pens! And the price that you pay for these - a total steal!

I needed black ink pens and these work well. The ink lasts a long time and it doesn't smudge. I highly recommend.
