PHILIP B Anti-Flake II Relief Shampoo, 11.8 Fl Oz

Definitely not as good as anti flake generation I (which I used for 2 years). This new formula/generation must have changed formula and can't handle flakes. Totally not worth the price any more. Hope they switch back to the generation 1 / old formula.

I’ve been a huge fan of this anti-flake shampoo. I’ve constantly returned even after trying others for a little while.Some of the best qualities of this product include the following:- no more itching- flaking goes away almost after the first few uses- effective for individuals with flaking scalpThe smell takes a little getting used to but it’s a very good exchange off the associated benefits. Definitely a 5 Star product in my opinion, and fixes one’s hair problem.

I am trying to use this shampoo, purchased for spouse who did not care for it, but it seems to strip my hair of any moisture and I am having a difficult time keeping my hair hydrated. Also seemed to strip the color from my hair :-(

This new Anti-Flake II shampoo does not work. Bring back the original Anti-Flake.

Wow I paid $38 for this and now I see it's gone up to $46? Anyway still checking out this new formulation. I've had it for 3 months. It seems a little more drying than the previous version (which I LOVED LOVED, it saved my scalp!) I don't hate it and it's way more like a regular thick shampoo, the older version was watery and smelled like dog shampoo but worked great! Will update soon.

It’s a great shampoo for itchy and flaky scalp. I have been using it for several years now, and my symptoms are gone. When it first was sold by Amazon the price was reasonable. Lately, the prices have risen, and it is very expensive for its size. Therefore, I only gave it 4 starts.

Best anti flake shampoo! Leaves hair feeling soft! Be sure to leave on for 3-5 min before rinsing for best results.

I wrote an enthusiastic review for Philip B antiflake relieve shampoo a couple of years ago. I still use it, but the newest version called Anti-Flake II is not as good as the original formula. They made it thicker now, but the original version though very thin, was somehow better working. It is still the best you can find for scalp dermatitis, what a shame they re-formulated this! Another thing I am less than happy about is that they no longer sell in UK a 500 mg bottles, probably because they do not want to scare off the customers with high cost. But we, the sufferers of seborrheic dermatitis and psoroasis have no choice really, it is eiteher pricey Philip B or itchy flaky scalp. But do give your good selves a chance and try it, perhaps buying a small bottle at first. And remeber NOT to use any conditioner after the shampoo. A residue of this product has to stay on your scalp. And if you visit USA, get a couple of bottles there, it is much cheaper. And hide well in your suitcase in case the UK Customs want you to pat duty. I ordered two larghe bottles from the States and had to pay £17 when it arrived by post.

I get this for my son who suffered terribly from a very flaky, sensitive scalp which was quite embarrassing for him. We tried many other brands that said they could sort out a flaky scalp but this was the only one that worked. He really relies on it. The shampoo is pricey but worth it because it works.
