I hate taking this. But it seems to keep the stomach pain away, so I do.

Effective, Great Value
I regularly suffer from acid reflux and was originally given Ranitidine through a prescription. Buying the Costco brand through Amazon is much cheaper and as far as I can tell, has the same quality as the prescription I was given. The expiration date printed on my product (ordered March 2017) is 08/18, so there should be plenty of time to use them all up. The lettering on the pill reads 'L852' for any who are curious. All in all, a great product with fantastic value!

Works fine, less money!
I had to switch from Prilosec et all (AKA PPI's) back to Zantac/ranitidine (AKA H2 blockers) and the like due to a prescription change. And there's just no comparison. When I was on PPI's, I was proactively protected for 24 hours. H2's and antacids are more preventative if you take them an hour before you eat. Well, I always forget until I'm eating or, worse, after eating and I thank my heartburn for reminding me.As for the product itself, no problems. Save yourself a lot of money and buy the store brand - it doesn't get any cheaper than this. But if it's not enough, go to the next level with PPI's (after talking to your doctor yadda yadda).FYI if you're new to heartburn, sorry to welcome you to the club. There are four treatments. Antacids like Tums, Rolaids and Mylanta, which you chew or drink and are best of rarely occurring, mild heartburn; H2 blockers like Zantac and ranitidine which, like I said are better for frequent heartburn and when you remember to take them; and PPI's like Prilosec - that's the heavy duty stuff you take everyday or whatever your doc tells you. You often need to take Calcium too b/c extended use of PPI's blocks calcium absorption. The price goes up but stick with store brand to save some money. I know at least one person who said he got break through heartburn on the store brand, so it is something to be aware of.Oh, the fourth treatment? Adjust your diet. Learn what's triggering heartburn and avoid those foods. Of course that's no fun since it's all the best foods. Good luck!

Great product at a super price
These Kirkland Signature Maximum Strength acid reducer, ranitidine 150mg, arrived within two days at a price better than I could get anywhere else. I have taken ranitidine 150mg (same as Zantac) for many years for GERD, and it works for me very well. Having been a Costco member for years, I am familiar with the Kirkland Signature brand, and respect it as being high quality, whatever the product, so I am very glad to be able to get this brand, at this price, sent right to my front door. There actually is some diffierance in various brands of ranititidine, I think having to do with the binder ingredients (to hold pill together). Kirkland brand is closest to Zantac in the way it acts, dissolves, works once taken, and also has a very similar appearance to the Zantac name brand. Will continue to purchase, and recommend.

Works Great! I noticed a family member used this acid reducer and went ahead and gave it a try. Great price and way better and cheaper than any other OTC heartburn relief medicine I've used in the past. I can eat a whole bag of Hot Cheetos or Hot Fries and be fine as long as I take this pill lol.

Great product and allowed me to get off a prescription ...
Great product and allowed me to get off a prescription drug they recommend that you should only take for 3 months. I've been taking it for a couple of years. No more.

Best antacid choice if you need one.
I was given a prescription for Ranitidine 100 mg. tablets, but was happy to find 150 mg. tablets over the counter at Walmart for about one sixth the cost of the prescription medicine. These are even less expensive. It's worth noting that Ranitidine has none of the side effects (and potentially even some side benefits) when compared to 'modern' antacids like Prilosec, while being significantly less expensive. If you are taking another antacid on the recommendation of a physician, do yourself a favor and ask them if Ranitidine (trade name Zantac) might work just as well - your wallet and your body will thank you.

Food looked good from a distance
I ate at the sketchy Hibachi buffet in the sketchy part of town. You know, the one that has signs up when you walk it telling you what coupons they accept and what are misprints.Food looked good from a distance. Up close, another story.I was already committed. Not much i could do.This product made my night better. Instead of cringing and shaking from heart burn(or quickbooks), i took a handful of these. It worked as displayed. Combined with the toilet paper i purchased earlier on amazon, my night grossly improved.

These really, really work
I had horrid, horrid heartburn that would wake me up every single night without fail...I didn't just get heartburn, I would get noseburn, as the reflux would extend up into the back of my throat and into my nasal passages while I was lying down. Just horrible...I'd wake up screaming in pain. The only thing I had in the house to treat it was Tums, and I would literally chomp them down by the handful, and then I had to wait a long time for them to work. I seriously would end up taking 20 Tums. I started omeprazole, which helped dial it back some, but I still had residual heartburn, especially if I'd eaten tomato sauce that day. Finally, I started taking ranitidine, while continuing the omeprazole. I'd found the magic combination! No more heartburn at all.
