This silver solution definitely has silver in it. I've been making colloidal silver for the past several years because it's such a wonderful anti-viral/bacterial. I've put it in my vaporizer when I had bronchitis and it clears it up in only a few days instead of waiting sometimes weeks for it clear up. I really am on bandwagon when it comes to silver products. The reason I make my own colloidal silver is because I don't want to pay $40 or for something that I can make for less than 10 cents (after initial purchase of required items), and a lot more of it. It's easy to make and good directions are found on Youtube. All that said, I think this is a very good product. I poured some into a clear glass container and peered through it with my red pen light and millions of tiny silver particles appeared! Just like they are supposed too. So, I know this product has what it says it has. You don't really need a high concentration of silver, a lower one gets the job done. I will probably pour this bottle into a quart or more of distilled water and it will work very well but it's fine just like it is, straight from the bottle. I've reviewed some silver solution products that showed no silver though they were supposed too. I fully endorse the Bucklebury silver solution though it's pricey. As of this review one, 16 oz. bottle costs around $40.00 and I could make gallons and gallons and many more gallons for that much money.

this is not as strong as other brands

The flavor is nothing I would ever go out of my way for. Slightly bitter and very dry. But not too terrible as it is watered down. The dosage says to take two teaspoons twice daily. If you do that - this bottle will last you about 23 days. Personally when I take silver I usually only do so for about 10 days each month. That way your body can also build up its own immunity and take care of itself. I also would only do the two spoons once a day so this bottle will last me for almost 5 months then. Structured silver is supposed to be more effective - so I am going to hope that it is.The company is also WONDERFUL! I actually received my bottle with no seal at all so I sent an email on Bucklebury's website and the owner got back to me - like literally right away. They sent me out a new - totally sealed - bottle right away. Customer service is GREAT! Now with the seal - the outer seal on the bottle is sort of useless as I could take the cap off without breaking it - BUT the inner seal is the important part anyway - and that was perfect. I've read a LOT of research on silver, my doctor wrote his master's thesis on the use of silver, which he had me read along with all his supporting documents.Silver is quite amazing, we use it almost daily. I've tried dozens of brands, even though I've never previously heard of Bucklebury, this seems to be a decent product. They say it's pH balanced, which basically means they added a pinch of baking soda.So silver can be used internally (usually to treat infection), topically, for irrigation or antibacterial in nose or ear, as mouthwash, atomize to treat lung infection, as household cleaner (mix a teaspoon with water, it will disinfect countertops, sink, etc), in small or large pools in place of chlorine, as drinking water purification... hundreds of uses.The challenge is, especially when taking internally, the most important number to know is the particle size. The smaller the particle the more bio-available it is - will penetrate all the organs, will help battle infection, etc. Medium particle size is less bio-available, and large particle size could just go right through you. Sovereign Silver brand makes a hydrosol that provides nano sized silver if looking for the smallest, that's the best for ILI (influenza-like-illness). Also, the smaller the particle, the lower the dose that is needed, because more tiny particles also offer more surface area.However, people automatically think that smallest is therefore always best, but that's not necessarily true, it depends on your objective. For example, for urinary tract infection, you want larger particles that survive absorption and reach the bladder and urethra. So in that example, larger particle size is better. So I keep several types of silver around the house.So it's difficult for me to recommend this brand for internal use. The instructions say take daily, and I don't care what brand or particle size, this is a bad idea. My personal conclusion after all my reading, you never want to ingest silver unless you have a specific objective - and then you want to take the right kind. The one area that hasn't been studied enough is how much it accumulates in tissue, but we do know that metals like aluminum, even in small doses, easily accumulates in joints (causing arthritis) and brain (causing dementia). Silver is definitely much much safer than aluminum, but caution should still be exercised.So I personally will use this in my neti pot for sinus infection, a couple drops in the ear for ear infection, topically for cuts etc, as mouthwash, topically to fight fungal infections, as a surface cleaner... but I will not be ingesting it.
