Prompt service good condition
I had the DVD for arthiritis which I like very well and wished I had ordered this handbook right with it. It shows all the moves to go along with DVD and good information on this type of Tai Chi. Glad I bought it.

Buy the DVD's instead
First of all, let me say that I am definitely a Dr. Lam fan. I have 5 of his DVD's including Arthritis 1&2. His teaching methods are excellent for memorizing the material. The handbook is ok as a supplement to the DVD's but not necessary. Everything that you need to know is covered in the DVD's so the book is for the most part redundant unless you want to read about the movements when you are away from your DVD player. I was hoping for some discussion of the specific chi meridians involved in the set but there was none. If you are really determined to buy it get the kindle version. I am so glad that I did not spend the money on the paper copy.

Book helps a litte but DVD is much better
I bought this as an e book to go along with a tai chi class I am taking. It is hard to follow the photos to see what Dr. Lam is doing. I then purchased the DVD of the same name with the same picture from Amazon and find this to work very well for me to learn the forms in tai chi. I highly recommend the DVD.

Tai Chi for Arthritis
I'm currently taking Dr. Lam's Tai Chi lessons at my Senior Complex. This book is helping me remember the correct way to do the moves when I practice at home. I recomment it.

not what I expected
Should have saved my money. This is basically a pamphlet with the exercises shown in pictures.

Life saver
I'd given up my regular t'ai-chi practice years ago due to illness and I'd kind of accepted my reduced mobility and stability as part of the ageing process, when a friend recommended Dr Lam's T'ai-Chi for Health. Using this video as a reference and practice guide, I enrolled on some classes. I've now mastered the basic T'ai-Chi for Arthritis form and I'm already noticing improved body confidence, range of movement and stability. Use it or lose it, they say. A real life saver for me!

Good info
Excellent little book. A huge amount of key information about underlying principles behind tai chi practice, succinctly written, in a few pages towards the back of this booklet
