Nice price for a good tool
I am using this as a crafter to make sure sign and shirt elements are straight and even. This item works great. So far the battery has lasted very well. For my specific purpose it is a little too big and is hard to use sometimes (tool is meant for bigger space use and I’m using it for items 1 to 2 1/2 feet wide. Overall I really like this product and the price is fantastic!!!!

Quilting tool, easy to use on different surfaces.
I'm a quilter, and make bed size quilts. One of the most difficult aspects is trimming the quilt evenly before applying the binding. This level laser square makes the chore much easier. I can lay the quilt on the floor and line up the laser lines with the corner, and the light line goes the entire length of the quilt, in two directions. Then I cut with my scissors along that line. This is so much easier than using 12" square and 26" long quilt rulers to measure along the long lengths of quilted fabric, which are usually 75-104" long. The laser light is a bright red color. The level laser square has several holes in its frame, which make it easy to pin up on my design wall, or secure it to the carpet. It is lightweight, and turns on with a push button.

Good Value 90 degree Laser guide-Don't expect the toughness of a premium tool.
The picture shows the initial results for trueness and it passed right out of the box for at least 10-12ft lengths. The lighting is ambient sunlight streaming through a patio sliding glass door (recently cleaned). The laser lines are readily visible. The suction cup test failed for painted drywall with a semi-gloss finish, but the cups seem to be intended for glass or tile hard surfaces which would work fine. Overall a value priced item that works for a good price. In comparing it to on-hand Dewalt and Bosche Lasers intended for different work tasks, the plastic on this item is lower grade as expected, to hit the price point and fully expected for the price. Functionality isn't impaired however for the intended usage.I don't think bargain tools warrant 5-stars because they aren't intended to compete at those prices and some types of work will reflect the grade of the tool used, so 4-stars is my top rating, compared to other items at this price point which may skimp on even reasonable functionality and sometimes don't manage to reach 2-stars. I won't leave this in the tool box or expose the chassis to much heat to avoid distorting it or otherwise damaging the tool. This will be handy for running masking lines, cross cutting sheet materials, checking table saw squareness...and similar tasks.Anyway, when I break this one I'll happily order the same one again.Requires 3-AA cell batteries, not included.

XCSOURCE Right Angle 90 degree Vertical Horizontal Laser Line Projection Square Level Laser Square BI010
I have been a quilter for over 40 years. I try to be as accurate as I can when making a quilt but measuring, cutting, and keeping fabric straight while sewing fabric strips and quilt blocks together is always a challenge. During the cutting and sewing process, fabric can move; rulers can slip; and before you know it your quilt block isn't quite as straight or as even as it should be. This small, light-weight laser tool is amazing because it helps you to line things up and keeps everything square and level. I wish I had discovered this tool years ago! It is going to help me become a more accurate quilt maker. The price was very reasonable, too! I have seen much larger, heavier and more expensive versions of this type of 90 degree laser level tool but this is a perfect size for a sewer or craft person to use. I love it!

Great but it has. Cheap suction cups.
This little thing is awsome and could be really useful for me at work if the suction cups were worth a damn. But they are replaceable so im looking for better ones to install. If you are looking at buying this brand because of its suction features alone like i was go with a different brand.

Very good lights on this unit
Very good lights on this unit. I'm using it to square up lines for laying out vinyl on tshirts before I heat press them. Lines seem to be true level and nice and bright. I can see this being useful in lots of different applications, I've no idea if the bubble levels are accurate as I haven't had a need to use them. Have recommended to other vinyl crafters as I like my very much.

keep looking for a more professional tool
Piece of J***. Not even close to 90degree. Lasers are not set properly. One laser is weaker than the other, makes it hard to see. Suction cups are only good if you have a smooth surface to place on. Works on glass, but how often do you align something with your window or mirror. Spend your money on a pizza, makes you at least feel good.

Too inaccurate for tile
I was hoping to use this to lay out tile in a master bathroom. With a Ditra Heat underlay this seemed easier than chalk lines.Unfortunately my first test of putting the device down on an existing tile floor showed that the laser lines diverged away from the existing tile lines.Even my second test, which was just putting my 16 x 24 carpenters square down against the lines showed a divergence. Over a distance of two feet its about as accurate as a carpenters square. It was when I put the device on a table that the reason became clear. When the device projected across the room the beam was visibly non-vertical. At about 10 feet comparing to a bubble level against the wall the line was over an inch to the right compared to vertical at only about three feet up. About two degrees of rotation. To be used as intended that line must be vertical.I opened the cover to see if there were any calibration adjustments that could be made. While each laser/lens assembly is fastened by four screws (JIS type) the screws were visibly Locktite sealed and even if the screws were moved there didn't appear to be any adjustment that would allow a rotation of the beam. The entire assembly appeared to be glued into the block that set the 90 degree angle. There were no instructions supplied with the device. The device seems close enough to 90 that it could likely be used successfully on a small scale. I would have never though of using it for quilting as other have done in these reviews. The single beam that is vertical is useful in itself for establishing a vertical plane. I wish I had the device a few weeks ago when trimming some warped studs.

Works very well. The only thing is that my walls are a bit ruff and the suction cups don't stick to them. That was not unexpected though. I just had to get an extra pair of hands to help me hold it.

Is is the best tool for laying ceramic tile
Is is the best tool for laying ceramic tile. It keeps your tiles straight and at right angles even in difficult installations. String lines or marks on the floor always get messed up and keeping things square is a challenge. This lazar angle provides a clear and unobtrusive guide.
