LaserLRM 2200SI 7x25mm Rangefinder Monocular, Tan, Small, LRM

This thing is pretty awesome. If you want to measure any further than 1800meters, you need to get a tripod stand or you need to be a champion statue impersonator. Because beyond that your body gets too shaky to get a steady reflection bounced back for measurement. i've clocked a cessna flying over head at 200kph using this range finder. Its pretty rugged with a rubberized body and the operation is very simple using just two buttons. If you truly were to nitpick, I guess reading the measurements at night would be a problem, since it displays numbers inside the viewfinder monocle and they're the same black color as those 80's casio digital watches. So it will measure at night, but you wont be able to read it, but then the upside is that the battery has lasted years. So its a tradeoff, but another button to illuminate the reading similar to the same led that was used in the casio watches in the 80s would have worked like a charm. I still give it 5 stars, love this thing.

Great product, very accurate. The settings could be a little easier and intuitive to use but it is a top quality product. I have no regrets!

I started shooting long range and I was looking for a reasonably priced range finder to replace my Leica LRF 900. I received the product and it is a great product. I ranged a water tower 1100 yards away with overcast skys and light rain with no problem. Pulled up my GPS and the given range was right on. The glass is clear (not as good as my Leica) but will do the job just fine. There are a few block dots on the glass but they are really small and easy to ignore since I am in need of a range finder not long range glass. I would buy again and recommend to a friend.

Amazing Rangefinder for the money. It is a little more expensive than some other options, but for something comparable with the performance this has. It is THE BEST VALUE by far!

Very nice

I've gone through a number of rangefinders trying to find one which was affordable and would range 1000+ meters reliably. The newcon 2200si does it, and doesn't break the bank. I can range 1000 meters reliably, and have ranged almost 2000 in near perfect conditions. It will also easily range when my other rangefinders will not.The viewfinder is decent, 7x magnification and clear optics. The only downside is the readout is not illuminated, so getting readings at night is pretty hard. You have to take a reading then point at a light source. Fortunately it has recall of the last 10 readings, but accessing them through the menu is a bit clunky. It has an option to measure the speed of a target, though I have never used it.Build quality is ok, it is definitely not ruggedized and will likely not stand up to harsh conditions or lengthy rough handling. It has a rubber front cover which attaches to the unit so you don't lose it. The 2200si comes with a nice carrying case. The unit is a little on the large side but it is pretty light. It has a semi rubberized coating which has a nice feel. It's pretty ergonomic and easy to grip and hold. It has a tripod mount, a nice feature that many rangefinders inexplicably lack.To sum up, the 2200si is an amazing value for money, probably the best kept secret in rangefinders today. It is feature packed at a price that is hard to beat.
