[by Siegfried Engelmann] Teach Your Child to Read in 100 Easy Lessons-Paperback

Such a good method for kindergardeners
I got this book for my 5 years old and the lessons are simple, have enough repetition, and focus a lot on the sounds of letters and reading/spelling rules (but in a simple way). My child who cannot stay put, has no problem working with me on this method for 10 min every day. We work on the sounds of the letters of each lesson and then we work on writing the letters. I am very happy with this method.

Perfect For All, but esp. kids with dyslexia
Strongly recommend if your kid is struggling or not. Guide for how to say sounds, how to sound out without stopping, essential phonemic awareness and phonics skills. If your child is young, break lessons into short chunks, do parts as "games" when walking or driving. Omit writing parts, or return to them when child is ready.Excellent tool!I use the classroom version of this to teach struggling readers.

Teach Your Child to Read in 100 Easy Lessons-
This book may be easy to follow for other individuals, but I find its instructions too overwhelming and boring.
