Braven BRV- X/2 - Wireless Bluetooth - Rugged Portable Waterproof Speaker with USB - Blue

This speaker is a must buy. I own several speakers from ION and JBL. I would put Braven to compete with JBL when it comes to sound and features. The price is unmatched if you can get one when it’s on sale. It has USB-C charging, 20w output , 18hr battery life( I get 10 on full volume) , call/siri button, and it floats with a IPX 7 rating. Sound is crisp with little to no distortion on full volume. It also comes with a loop lanyard that you can attach to the 2 hook and loop slots. ( I usually take two Velcro straps and secure it to my front bike rack ). Great for outdoor use. I’ve dropped my JBL Charge3 and Clip3 before and either the front plate came off or something in the speaker would rattle. I like the boxy design with a metal chassis and a rubber shell.

I’m a mail man and use this while on my route. It’s small rugged and has great sound. I do have to charge it every night. Forgot one day and it died halfway thru the day. I would say it lasts about 7-8 hrs at medium volume on a full charge. If you are charging ur phone and using the speaker at the same time, half that time. I like it a lot.

A great speaker for the discounted price. We have connected it wirelessly to a bedroom TV for improved volume control and sound orientation. It has great volume and is extremely sturdy. Only wish it had WiFi connectivity and an app. Increasing and decreasing the volume is a guessing game without an app or a lighted volume level indicator on the speaker. A little disappointed in the USB rechargeable battery life. So, we generally keep it plugged into a power source, but not sure if this is a good practice.

Wow! Easy to use and set up! Sound is clear, loud, with deep rich tones! I carry mine on my golf cart using Bluetooth on my cell phone to play my music while working on my property! Love the long life battery power! Great to use anywhere, park, beach, boat, you name it! I used my old dogs collar looped through the eyes on top to make a great soft carry handle. Highly recommend a Braven!

I have owned a Braven Balance for many years. When I wanted another speaker, I bought this Braven BRV- X/2. The sound quality is even better than the Braven Balance (which is great). The battery lasts all night at a loud volume. Love the available red color! Only drawback is that it doesn't come with a charger cord or charger, so I had to purchase a USB-C cable and charger for it.EDIT: Purchased in Sept 2020, left a 5-star review in Nov. Now late December, and the USB-C charging port is so loose around the charging cord that there is no contact and I can't charge it (it is the speaker, not the wire). Now past the return window, hopefully I'll have luck with the warranty - but I can't recommend any more.EDIT: July 2021 - I received a warranty replacement Dec 2020 (charged me $10 for shipping). Second one was great, but 7 months later the right speaker stopped working. ZAGG is replacing this -again- under warranty ($10 charge again). Maybe the 3rd one will last. I keep it clean and well cared for, I'm not happy at all about the lack of quality!

Sound from this speaker is gnarly. The thing is freaking solid! Bass thumps harder than that bunny from Bambi. The solid metal handle loops accuratly depict the ABSOLUTE UNIT of a speaker Braven has made here. The radiator is also solid metal and I am pretty sure if you yeeted this at someone's head their skull would cave before this speaker? $50 is a crime because this speaker should really be like $100... Not that I'm complaining! AU, thank you! Buy this speaker! And type-c is fantastic too! Lol

Excelent power and sound quality, if you pair two units you can get a deep stereo cover of your room, just don't separate them more than 6M or 20 ft to maintain the signal synchronized.Consider that the quality of sound also depends of your device, if you have a old or entry level cellphone perhaps it can't take all that this speakers can give.

This speaker is very middle of the road. Nothing special...serves a purpose. Sound quality is a little "thin". turns itself on while charging. I make a point to turn it off and then i charge it overnight..in the morning it is magically already on so what I think is a full charge only lasts about an hour or two. Every single time. Very frustrating. I would have sent it back, but I didnt really use it until after the return window.

Si buscas una bocina inhalambrica con gran sonido y nitidez a un buen precio, esta es la mejor opción. Sin duda la marca BRAVEN es una de las mejores en su segmento y el precio de promoción estuvo genial.La entrega fue en el plazo acordado. La bateria dura lo suficiente para una reunión al aire libre (alrededor de 12 hrs) En espacios cerrados el sonido se escucha aún mejor. Recomendada!!!

Could have more base, I need the volume for my atv and that it gives but you can’t here the base.

Speaker arrived no problems. Good size and sound and had for 10 months. Unfortunately 1x side of the speaker has now blown

Length of time taken for arrival of product was acceptable. Sound quality of product was good. Product design was hardy. Only complaint was design was a bit plain... perhaps, a trade-off for hardiness
