Extremely well designed bag
Extremely well designed bag. Just took it on a trip for the first time and couldn't be happier. It has plenty of space to pack and stack things (and plenty of accessible pockets), and yet fits easily into overhead bins as a carry on. Even with a decent amount of weight on it, it is easy to carry with the shoulder strap (hanging high enough to not seem awkward) or the handles on either side (both of which are padded). It has high quality metal zippers, as well as metal fasteners for the shoulder straps and also the hooks for hanging. One thing I really like about it--when you hang it up, all three sections that have pockets are accessible (so you never have to put it on the floor, especially when in a new hotel room--great bed bug defense if there were any). The frame is also sturdy, and the sections fold over well without wrinkling clothes (and the straps can be a type of compression to keep things secured). Material feels sturdy and seems like it will last.

Excellent bag!
I have only used this bag for a trip to NY, but it seems to be of very good quality/durability and has several nice features, especially the two chain door hangers which can hang the bag from the top of a door, or one can be removed and used to hang your clothes themselves on the door (such as in the bathroom to let steam de-wrinkle your suit. As far as size goes: In the hanging compartment I was able to fit two hangers comfortably (probably one more with a little squeeze), containing: 1 suit, 2 dress shirts, 2 undershirts, 1 pair of jeans, a polo shirt, and my belt and ties. In the pockets I easily fit some folded jeans and shirts, socks, underwear, and the big pocket easily held 10.5EE Allen Edmonds. I would advise to use rolled clothes or a packing cube on each side of the shoes for cushion, because this pocket is on the outside of the bag and will see some abuse during travel.

Beautiful garment bag for the money
I was looking for a garment bag to replace the one my husband was using from when we first got married 28 years ago for Father's Day. Well after doing some searching online I came across WallyBags. I saw it at a major store for $167.00 on sale, but found it on Amazon for $123.00. My husband has not used it yet, but the quality and the built of it looks to stand the test of time. At 52 inches long, it is long enough for most of his suits or long tops and three large outside compartments for shoes and other items. He really liked the gift. You cannot beat the value for this price. I would definitely recommend. Its a very beautiful garment bag and I will give updates after using it.

Really good bag that has the potential to be great.
Let me preface by saying 1) I have actually used this product. Not just received it. 2) I have used it more than once. 3) I had a previous WallyBag bifold bag that friend let me borrow and I chose to buy this because the other bags quality was good but I wanted a trifold.I took this on 9 interviews over the course of 3 months. This is a really good bag, but could be a great bag.For those asking whether it will survive the baggage "handlers" at most airports, the answer is yes. It survived being checked, gate checked, and carried on in even the smallest prop planes on major airlines in the US. As long as you dont leave any clasps unclipped and put the shoulder strap in the bag when checking it will not get snagged.Often the gate agents will eyeball it and tell you it needs to be gate checked. Just put it in the sizer and smile at them. It fits (at least on American and Delta).I travel with this mini roll on from LL Bean (http://www.llbean.com/llb/shop/62132?page=carryall-rolling-underseat-bag). And you would expect a $135 garment bag to come with a pass through pocket (for placing on the handles of carryons) so that it wont constantly fall off the roll on. Yes. I had to run after this rolling down about 4 flights worth of escalator stairs because it fell off before I realized it sits better on the side with the flat carry handle. But it and my clothes did survive. It looks sleek, and is well made. It is heavy unloaded, walking with this over your shoulder while transferring from one side of Ohare to another was painful (hence using with a carry on now). The topmost arc is rigid, so the area where your hangar holds clothes is protected from damage and compression. The outer is black nylon that is largely water resistant. It survived rain several times but am not sure I would trust it in a downpour....then again, I probably wouldn't trust any piece of luggage in a downpour.Pocket design is good, but definitely an area for improvement. There is an accessory pocket over the midsection over the main pocket that is essentially worthless for carrying more than documents. People carrying this bag likely are not putting documents in it. They want to put the maximal number of clothes/shoes in.That being said, I can comfortably fit one male suit and 4 shirts in the bag and expect them to come out without being crushed. Two pairs of shoes max (athletic and dress). There are some bumper type things in the main pocket that I'm guessing are supposed to help prevent folding, but I have found these to be useless and removed them. The other quip I have with this bag is the handle arrangement. There is a handle on the bottom and the top of the bag, but the shoulder strap is useful only with one of the handles. Get rid of one of the handles. It's excess weight. You're only going to use the handle that is adjacent the shoulders strap. Ever. One positive I initially thought was not a good feature is that there is a hanger mount both inside and outside the bag, and it comes with two chain hooks. I travel with one and keep the other at home in my closet so if I get in late, I can just hang the garment bag up and unpack it the next day.Pro:Well built and Durable enough to survive baggage handlers in the USProtects clothesStylishCompletely closedCons:HeavyExcess handlesExtra Pocket that is uselessVerdict: Yes I would buy this again. But I hope WallyBags makes a version that has fewer handles and is lighter.

Worked great, especially for the price!
This bag worked great. We have used it only once, first as a carryon, to take a suit, wedding dress. 2 pair of shoes & a few shirts from the US to Europe. It was heavy, as others noted in their reviews, so we set it on top of one of our roller bags to take it throughout the terminals. Otherwise, it would have been impossible to carry it by the shoulder strap, for the distances we had to take it. On the return trip, we removed all the straps and sent it as checked baggage and it made it fine all the way back to the US. I am unsure how it will hold up for future trips, but it is made of heavy duty material and seems to be quality-made. I would definitely recommend it, especially for the price.

Otherwise it is durable and good quality. Not for me though
There aren't many compartments inside. the outside compartments are large and do not have dividers inside. I travelled with suits and I still needed to iron the suit out. If you put the shirts in in the front pocket they seem to have less wrinkled. Otherwise it is durable and good quality. Not for me though, would look into alternatives. This did fit in the over head compartments even the smaller regional air jets.Overall, it fit in the overhead airplane comparements. Good quality. It could use more dividers in the compartments and I still had to iron things out.

Very good product, but it can be very heavy and spacious, be sure to use it properly
This is a very good product but you have to make sure you're going to use it properly. The bag is very well made, very resistant and it can fit a lot of wardrobe, honestly, I don't think I have ever reached it's full capacity. The problem is that it can be very heavy if you're going to carry it for long/medium distances. I'm a 28 year old, 6'2'', 190 lbs male that works out and even for me it gets really heavy after a while, do not buy this item if you plan to walk around with it. It should only be used for shot walking distances. It also takes a lot of space so it's not practical
