Great tool for furniture finishers.
I purchased it to use in my furniture building and refinishing, very helpful in getting the correct color.

Useful at times
A little gimmicky but fairly useful when needed to see what colors will do when mixed. Need to convert these colors to Transtint colors when using. I wrote them on the back so Id have them with the wheel.

Way over priced
Just a flimsy piece of paper. Not particularly useful.

Without being able to find Cordovan in any retail store or online store, it's useless. I have not tried to match any other color on the wheel but the Cordovan seems to be genuine and not a universal color that stain manufacturers use.

how to use
Easy to use. Simple instructions. A great tool

Not worth the money
I was hopeful that this wheel would provide more help in mixing tints, but in actuality it is quite limited. It only focuses on four popular basic colors, and appoximates results on generic blond wood. Better to just buy a set of tints and experiment.

Great aid to narrowing in on the right stain to use.
We like this 'color wheel' very much. It is not made of super durable material BUT, with an ounce of care I am sure will last for as long as I will need it. Keep it in a zip lock bag when not in use for extra precaution and store flat on edge or on a nail against the wall.
