Jack of all trades headset with a cool look; would give sound quality 9/10 for the price.
Compared the Logitech G930, this sounds much louder and a little sharper. The surround sound feels very different, but once I got used to it, I like it. Things in center channel do not sound directly "in front of you", but they certainly sound very "in back of you". In some games like Half-life Sven and HL2 and Killing Floor, the audio is so loud that I rarely use more than 4% volume. One must be careful to always know the volume level before you put on this headset or you might blow your ears out. The bass sounds pretty good, not incredible, but for the price it's still a good value. They are very comfortable for my slightly above average size head.People online do not seem to have any trouble hearing me with the mic. I like how it blocks out some ambient noise, but not so much that you can't hear someone talking who is physically right next to you. They look very cool. TT released new software/drivers for this headset last Dec, so it should work fine with Win10 and now there are even more features. My USB cord shows some signs of wear (kinkiness) after a few months of use, but that might be my fault for keeping the cord folded up, since I do not require much length.

Noice
Great headset, though I find that it occasionally disconnects for no reason. Other than that minor issue, though, it's a great set.

" I have had nothing but bad luck with these
After my set of Logitech G30's finally kicked the bucket after 3 years of heavy use, I decided to get another headset, but I wanted to try something new. These were highly reviewed, and I thought "Why not?" I have had nothing but bad luck with these. After plugging them in and downloading the software off of the website, I couldn't get any clear sound out of these. Finally got something but only through the right ear. Turning on the "3D Surround Sound" created this horrible buzzing that hurt my ears. I have done nothing but troubleshoot these things but no results. I've even tried it on 3 other computers. These just do not work.Pros:Look greatVery ComfortableCons:Cable is very shortPlastic Buttons feel very cheap and flimsyTerrible softwareDon't know about sound quality as they did not work.

BEST GAMING HEADSET FOR WINDOWS USERS
Super Comfy. Noise Cancelling. The Mic is so crisp and clear, and omni-directional meaning you can move it in any direction. The knob on the side is really nifty too if you don't want adjust your computer volume manually. The 7.1 speakers are just what I needed for my multi-player game, now I can hear footsteps behind me in game even better. This headset had the two things I was looking for in a headset, 7.1 surround sound, and a crystal clear mic. Another cool feature they don't mention is the LED lights on the side sync with the sound from the computer, so if you're playing music, the lights will flash and flicker to the beat! It's really cool. Don't forget to go online and download the drivers to get the full effect of this amazing headset.

Fragile Fragile Fragile!
Been a fan of Thermaltake for well built power supplies, cases, and liquid cooling for years. Thought I’d give these a try.Apparently, the headband was made with recycled egg shells. It has cracked and come apart in many spots. I wound up taking the thing apart and epoxying the plastic inside and out, and that helped it last me about a year of use.The other big issue I had with it was Windows 10 compatibility. When I had upgraded to 10, these headphones (which were about 5 weeks old at the time) wouldn’t work. No refund, no fix. It wasn’t until about 6 months later that the compatibility issues was resolved. They sound good, voice capture is nice and clear... but the build quality is bad at any price point, let alone what these go for.

Sounds and look great, but lacks comfort.
The Shock 3D is a great sounding headset with a pretty good mic. The issue, and why I returned it is that the headset itself is very heavy, and in conjunction with the not-so-comfortable head piece, makes gaming for anything other than the shortest of periods very uncomfortable and unpleasant.

works very well for the money
I have had 2 of these so far. I enjoyed them very much. I broke the cable connecting to the headet itself. that was my fault for the way I put it down every time. I had it for 2 years before it broke. the audio and mic quality is really good so is the volume. I highly recommend

Cheap plastic design, but sounds great!!!!
Although the sound is amazing, the manufacturing is not. The headsets are 3 months old, and the plastic piece on the headrest has already broken in two places (both breaks in the last two weeks) - I have duct tape holding it together. Very flimsy cheap design. Can't comment on the software because I could never get the drivers to work on Windows 7, ran them with generic Microsoft drivers. They are also very heavy, uncomfortable for anything over 1 hr. Would never buy again - would not recommend.
