Ty Pluffies Dangles Monkey

I bought this guy along with the Ty Winks Elephant (https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B000BUU5KO/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_0) for my two small cousins. This one is going to the one that is 1+ years. The description states 3+ years but the stitching seems strong and I might take out the eyes and replace them with stitched on ones depending on if the mother is more comfortable with that. Regardless, this is a wonderful purchase for kids, the plush is super soft and cushy and is sure to be loved well.On a side note: I expected these to be loose in the box but I was pleasantly surprised to find them in individual bags, so it's nice that I can keep them clean and fresh until I can gift them.

If you are buying this to replace an older one...dont. Your child will know the difference and most likely reject this newer version. We have an older version made with the Lux fabric and it is much much nicer than this current model. If your buying it and the child cant compare it to another version, you will be fine. It is still soft and lovable. TY please bring back the nicer version!!

As with everyone else and their mother who reviews this product, this is my daughter's favorite stuffed animal. We now have three of them to cover our butts when their is a lost monkey scare and evade a bedtime meltdown. Below is a list of pros and cons.Pros: 1. It is cheap to purchase (makes a big difference when you have to constantly replace it) 2. It is easily washable 3. Popular model - I have had to buy three over the last 4 years, so it has been easy to findCons:1. The quality does vary from monkey to monkey. My daughter refers to one of her monkey's as the "one with the pushed up nose" b/c it looks noticeably different. Also, the stitching on the mouth tends to come out easily.2. It does not come with a GPS tracking device installed to assist you when your child carelessly leaves it in obscure/hidden locations.

This is my kid’s favorite toy/friend. I had to buy a second and store it in case. It’s very soft, and it has a little bit of a beanbag inside it, which I think is great because it stuffs into smaller bags well and it washes easier than a hard-stuffed animal. (On those I worry that when I wash it the water will get in the center of stuffing and mold rather than dry out.) This little monkey handwashes really easily and cleans up well. (It’s been put through a lot!)

My daughter was given the pink Baby Dangles when she was born by a family friend. "P.J." as he's known is a very important part of our night time routine. When my son was born I decided it was only fair that he should have a monkey of his own. So I found this one on Amazon and purchased it. From the day it arrived it has cause havoc in our household for the 19 month old. She calls this monkey P.J. as well and threw fits because she wanted to trade Bubby her pink monkey for the brown monkey. We get quite a kick out of it. So now "Skittles" stays in Bubby's bed and he has a hay day with him. He chews on the tail and ears just like Sissy does. I would recommend this to anyone. One draw back...The pink monkey we received has the eyes sewn on. This is a fabulous safety feature for small chilren, but the brown one has bead eyes sew in. They seem very secure, but still a potential choking hazard for smaller children if they figure out how to gnaw on them.

We bought this for our son. We named him Mikey. He is beloved and doesn't eat too much. We had an issue with thrown fecal matter, but we can't be 100% certain that Mikey is behind that. We've set up security cameras to see what is going on, but it appears that Mikey has escaped across the Golden Gate Bridge with the other stuffed animals and James Franco.If you see James Franco, do not approach him. He is moody and dehydrated. Mikey on the other hand is loyal and cuddly. You may fall in love with him, but proceed with caution. When the sh*t hits the fan, you don't want to be holding a monkey.

This monkey is my baby girl's favorite lovely since she was 9 months old. She has 2 other version of Ty plush toys but she will always go back to monkey. She has to cuddle it in the morning and she must has it when she goes to bed. She also enjoys sucking on his tails a lot. This monkey washes very well. I am getting 2 more so that I can wash them frequently.The two that I got in 2009 has sewed eyes and the "fur" looks more washed out. I re-ordered again in April 2010 and now it has the button eyes, the same as my daughter's original one and its "fur" is soft. Now that my daughter is 2.5 years old, she can distinguish the sewed and the button eyes. She refuses to hug the two sewed monkeys. When she see the button eyed, she run to cuddle and kiss it.

My son lost his Monkey at the library where I work and I was immediately able to find a duplicate on amazon.com to replace him in a mere few days. Of course the one we received was in perfect condition and arrived the same say the old one was found. So we decided the new one is the old ones brother. Great monkey and just the right size to be a faithful companion for any little boy or girl. Well made and a very nice price.

Got one for my son over 5 years ago so needed to get one in reserve for when his one has to go. Didn't pay anything near this price and can put his in the washing machine which this one says you can't. Only bought it because I had to. Not worth the money at all.

This is my two year old's favourite toy by far. She won't sleep without it. We had to buy a second one as a safety just in case she lost the first! I love the fact that it is washable in the machine.

Having been a TY fan since I was a child I knew I'd be getting a good product,My 18 month old niece will be thrilled to have her very own 'oo oo' from us for Easter :)

My 4 month old daughter love Curious George on the Disney channel so i bought this...............she loves it!!!!!! For the price its really well made and very soft.
