Ruby Throated Hummingbird Christmas Ornament

I bought this ornament as a gift for a friend who loves hummingbirds. She loved it! Just a word of caution, it is not glass but wooden. I like the wood because it won't break and hopefully this will be a gift my friend will have for many Christmases to come. She said she was even going to hang it up over sink after the holidays

I live in MA and every spring and summer the ruby throated hummingbirds visit my feeders. This has been going on for several years and I have become a bit of an enthusiast. So I wanted an ornament that would represent that fond memory and this is the one I chose. It was the most realistic of the ones I looked at. It's hand carved out of wood and painted beautifully. Everyone I have shown it to is amazed at how nice it is. I'm so glad I ordered it. It looks real nice on the tree.

This is a nice little hand painted ornament and is the best ruby throated hummingbird ornament I have been able to find.

I love hummingbirds. This unique little wooden creation has become the focal point of an actual hummingbird nest on a branch (regifted to me by my son-in-law). It's absolutely beautiful.
