It's a good product, but does not apply very dark on your lower lash.

I do love it...but beware..it goes on easily and heavy...so you have to start out light when applying...it's very black and dark.. but it's vegan and well made.. glides on nicely...

This pencil is very hard in texture and very hard to apply. I have to press very hard and then I get only a lighter line than I would like.

This swatched on my arm really nicely (I got it in a Vegan Cuts Beauty subscription box). It was a good black without being too black.And then I tried to use it on my eyelids. I had primer and shadow on them already. And this was seriously hard to apply. I felt like I was about to poke my eye, I had to press so hard (this is on the upper lids, mind you). Over shadow and primer, this was more of a gray than a black, and I had to move the pencil across my eyelid (there was pulling) several times to even be able to see it. Unfortunately, I cannot wear any eyeliner without primer because I have such oily eyelids.This is saved from getting one star because it is totally non-irritating on my eyes, which I can't always say about liners. But for me, the application process was unpleasant enough and the color payoff was so low that I will most likely not be reaching for this very often.

I've been using this for a few years now. It goes on very, very easily. It's a nice black. I really, really like it. The only thing I would change though is that it does smudge/ leak within an hour of being applied. But once I wipe off those smudges with just my finger, it stays put the rest of the day. I'm willing to deal with this inconvenience because these ingredients are way better than most eye liners.
