Seller sold previously claimed device, unusable.
Device sold was already claimed by another organization. This is not an authorized Cisco reseller, so Meraki support cannot unclaim the device. Device is unusable.

Does its job well.
I work at a small school (270 enrollment) and we use this as our gateway and internet filter. The only thing that I am not a huge fan of, that our sonicwall filter had was keyword blocking and filtering https. Overall this is a great filter, but make sure you buy one for the right amount of users. Our network more than tripled this year and we are already upgrading to the MX100. Meraki does a great job of offering tech support and I can usually talk to a real person within minutes of calling. We also use the advanced security license which is about the same price as the unit itself. What we are using the MX60 for:AD sycingTwo internet uplinks that students use one feed teachers use another3 vlans (our main server handles the DHCP for the main network the MX60 handles it for the other 2)Content FilteringBandwidth ControlVPNThose are just the main things, do your research and find out for yourself.

The best firewall we have ever had for our New Jersey medical office
We have an office with about 30 people and 5 doctors in Bergen County. Our old IT company could not figure out how to get the network secure. As the office manager, I needed to find out how to get a HIPAA compliance audit so we could verify that our medical office and computers and EMR were all really secure. We got the meaningful use payments and then we got a letter that the state would audit and check that we have hipaa compliance. I found Network Doctor in Englewood Cliffs and they immediately came out to assess the network. They found all the problems from the old IT company that claimed they were everything was all covered. Well it wasn't all covered. Network Doctor setup this firwall, they made everything secure, cleared off the viruses, setup a remote backup to their data center and even fixed the problems with Eclinical EMR that we had for over two years. Amazing! Now I just get a monthly fee from them for managing everything and it makes me look like a rockstar! I recommend Meraki and Network Doctor.
