Leica Camera 18489 12.1MP Digital Camera with 7x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom and 3-Inch LCD (Dark Red Burgundy)

I have the camera for 9mos. My hobby of photography has been going on since '75. Yes you read that right. Have many cameras in my collection, both film and digital.My thoughts on this camera. You are purchasing a Panasonic camera body with Leica enhancements. It performs well but can be confusing at times when you drill down into the features (many features that you will not most probably use). The camera only locked up on me twice and the battery life is satisfactory (pssst purchase another battery as backup). The picture quality is in my opinion satisfying. I have notice some blurring on edges when in Panoramic mode (the camera needs to scan the scenery so that is understandable). Overall I am satisfied with the purchase for what I need the camera for "point and shoot."

The camera arrived without a case. We called seller the case arrived the next day. This company has been in business for many many years. This camera is amazing!!!

I like the camera a lot, ordered 2 in fact for an upcoming trip, but am not happy that there is no US battery charger.....there ARE 2 chargers in the kit, with european outlet prongs and Australian outlet prongs, and I am not finding a way to contact the seller to see if they can provide these. Also no memory card included with the camera, nor anything about that in the description from the seller. AND....no info on purchasing a generic battery charger. Anyone out there with more info???

I have only used it with the relative simple commands. There are a lot of functions I need to learn how to use this camera. It is handsome and compact. So far, it works well. The owner manual that comes with it is skimpy, and the text is tiny. Not the best for an older person. The battery runs about 250 pictures, max. I plan on buying an extra battery, and I hope the after-market one is safe to use.

Perfect camera for travel. Small, pocketable and light. Great lens, an EVF (no more squinting at the LCD screen in bright sunshine) and a fully functional lens ring (I use that for a quick ISO adjustment in low light situations without going deep into the menu like other digicams).

I finally get Leica!!Hardware is solid, there are so many adjustment I can make, auto mode is super nice as well.I can not complain any yet.This is better than all DSR and compact system camera (D7100, NEX-7 A3000, NEX-5, GX-1), except D600, that I have had.I do not need to carry large heavy camera bag any more.

I enjoy the Leica C-type for what it is; A nice compact camera in a sexy style. I do have one problem. I was supposed to get Adobe Lightroom with the package but never received it.

Sweet little camera didn't think I would like I was wrong it it is amazing
