Petmate Fat CAT 610104 Pet Supplies Cat Toys

The mat arrived yesterday and from the moment I put the catnip in it, my cat went crazy over it. She started by rolling around on it, which escalated to full-scale play including batting it around like a toy and flipping it upside down and clamping down on it with her hind legs. After several hours, she finally slowed down to rest, but only for a short time before starting all over again. It works particularly well on the tile floor, because she is able to slide it to new locations. It was amazing ... she didn't get off of it for a full 24 hours! Best catnip toy ever ... she played with it for hours without me having to lift a finger. I assume the quality of the catnip it came with had some effect on her reaction, but the size of map is a perfect fit for her body, which I also think helped make this special to her. She slept on it all night, after she finally tired herself out. I used to get these boogie mats in the pet store years ago, but have been unable to find them recently. I see that some people complained that they didn't get the one pictured. The one I received looks exactly like the picture ... black cat sitting with the red flowers.

This is the second boogie mat I’ve purchased and they’re a hit with my kitty . There are several designs and it seems they’re chosen at random so you might not get the one that’s pictured. I didn’t the first time around but the Quality was the same with both mats. The padding inside isn’t super thick but she doesn’t seem to mind cause she’s always laying on it. She doesn’t seem to care much for the catnip that was included but the zipper on the side makes it super easy to add a brand I know she loves. I will definitely buy more to put around the house.

Who knows why cats like what they like? My cat, Elvis, also likes cardboard tubes from a roll of paper towels. My sister sent him this 'magic carpet' for Xmas and he liked it so much I sent one to his friend, Mildred, in Colorado! Elvis has no interest at all in catnip so I didn't even bother to put any inside. At fist he just loved to sit on it. But then he went after the tassels and the tags. If I wave a plastic stick under it he tackles the mat. Mildred mostly rolls around in it and looks stoned . . sometimes trying to see what is under it? I bought my cat a $150 cat 'castle' which he spent about 5 minutes on. This mat? He still loves it 2 weeks after Christmas. And it weighs a lot less than that cat castle!!!

Want my 15 yr old cat to get exercise. She saw this little mat and loved it. She lays on it almost every single day and rubs her body on it a lot. I put the Catnip it comes with in the mat. There is a zipper that is nice and sturdy and doesn't allow the Catnip to leak out. My fur baby loves it and so it is good enough for me.

i just bought 2 more of these for my 17 year old little box turtle. i fold it over and safety pin the 2 edges and make a little pocket for her. she goes in there every evening to go to bed. she loves her "fat cat toy boogie mat". the first 2 have lasted at least 10 years and is finally ripping at the seams. these 2 new ones should last just as long. i take the catnip out and give it to my friend who has cats and then wash and dry the mats and they are ready to go. i wash the about once every few months and has still lasted a long time. i also cut the fluffs off so they don't shed in her container. Love these beds!!!

My cats love this thing, to varying degrees. The older ones just like sitting on it wherever it happens to rest on the hardwood floor. The kittens play with and attack it, with bonus interest if there's something under it. The outer part washes well - I took the foam out first. Keeps loose catnip contained well, while still providing that familiar smell and effect. Wish it was bigger!

My cats love these Boogie mats! Whether we play by moving a plastic stick under it (not included) with them pouncing on it or crawling under it, they love it. And when the playtime is over, they sleep on it. I have multiple mats in the house so they can find one whenever they want to play or just rest from playing. The label says not to wash in the machine, but I have (in cold water) and put then through the dryer on low. I do have to flatten out the inner padding (open the zipper on the side), but it's faster and cleans better than hand washing. The playful and colorful designs also bring a smile to my face when I see them.

My cats really enjoy these blankets. Great patterns also to choose from. There is a zipper to easily add the catnip. They’ll have a ball and the scent lasts for days also. These blankets also came with a free pouch of catnip. I would recommend this, but I made sure I bought one for each cat.

My cat has had several of these and it's the one thing she never gets bored with. She sleeps on it, washes on it, and sometimes it's her favourite toy and she wrestles with it and plays peek a boo by tunnelling underneath it. You can unzip the cover and refresh the catnip, or use without if you prefer. They last well but due to her excessive love for them I do like to replace them once a year or so. I am always worried Fatcat inc will stop making these as nothing else compares.

My cats went crazy over these before I could even get them out of the package. They love laying on them. Super cute. Well made.
