I done a lot of research on anti uv glasses before choosing the ALTEC VISION gaming glasses and I'm completely satisfied with my buy. The glasses also came with a cheap hard case and microfiber lens cloth!I do a fair bit of gaming on PC and after trying a pair of GAMMA RAY glasses from a friend I decided some Anti UV glasses were a must have! After wearing these a bit if you regularly use screens you will notice less eye strain. Getting to sleep may also be easier if you use these. There is a slight yellow tint but seconds after wearing them I forget about it. The steel frame feels sturdy but as others mention the screws may need tightened after a bit of use. I have had these for three months now and have had no issues with scratches.When researching Anti UV glasses I had a hard time choosing because EVERY pair had mentions of getting easy scratches or hard to remove smudges. If you need to clean the glasses its recommended to never wipe them while dry. Run some light warm water over the lens before cleaning with the microfiber lens cloth. Make sure no dust or dirt is on the glasses or cloth, the filters used in glasses like these are easily scratched! Using this method should deal with both problems keeping your glasses smudge and scratch free. If you are having issues with smudges your cloth may be dirty and need cleaning.

Purchased these glasses for my brother-in-law for a holiday gift. When they arrived, I was curious as to how they worked and may or may not have carefully opened the box and tried them on. The glasses came in a professional, durable case with info and a microfiber cloth. The glasses themselves were sleek and stylish and sat comfortably with adjustable nose pieces for a universal fit. I tested them on my 55" LCD and the clarity was unbelievable! There is a ceiling light in my room that usually gives off a glare on the TV but that completely disappeared. The only way to describe vision through these glasses is HD everything with no eye strain. These glasses were certainly affordable and I don't see how paying for the $50-$100 pairs could offer anything better. I might have to pick up a pair of my own! Great product and highly recommend.

When I opened the package today I was instantly hit with an overwhelming cigarette smell. The glasses, the case, the plastic, is all absolutely saturated with the smell of smoke. I've already washed the glasses with soap and water and the smell still remains. The other products in the package did not have this issue so I know it's only isolated to this product. Makes me wonder if they're actually new or if they were returned and sold to me... I'm going to have to trash the case that came with these (if I keep them), which isn't a big deal, but I may end up returning them if I can't get the smell out.UPDATE: After washing a few more times and leaving them in front of a fan on a table so they could thoroughly air out, I was able to rid them of the smell. While this is something I shouldn't have had to deal with, I dealt with it and am keeping them. The product itself is fantastic. The glasses are comfortable, clear, and my eyes consistently feel fresh while wearing these. Lately, I have been gaming for extended periods of time. Before wearing these, I was getting headaches and my eyes would just flat out hurt after a while. With these, I've been able to play for long periods of time with no headaches and no strain. Great for watching TV in bed at night as well or working on the computer at any time. Would recommend.

Having recently changed jobs, I found myself sitting in front of a dual monitor setup 8 hours a day instead of moving about with minimal time in front of a screen. I didn't so much get headaches, but my eyes would feel tired and strained by the end of the day. I admit, I was skeptical if glasses like these would work, so I didn't want to spend much on higher end, name brand glasses. I had a leftover gift card, maybe from Christmas, with $15 dollars on it. Perfect.After a month of use, I'm happy to say that these glasses have improved my eye strain. I don't care for the included cleaning cloth as it seems to smear oils around rather than removing them. Fortunately, I have many other clothes from various sunglasses so this was a nonissue for me.If you are skeptical toward blue light filter glasses like I was, give the Altec Vision glasses a try. They are light on the wallet, fit comfortably for an 8 hour work day, I'm told they look good when I'm wearing them, and they achieved the desire results for me.

First off, the only reasons it's not a perfect five are that 1. It smudges really easily and the like, and 2. The nose pieces bug me after it gets moved around enough on my nose. They're the rubbery nubs and I don't wear real glasses so maybe that's not a big deal.As for the good, they are magical. In the same amount of time my eyes would get red and a headache would be coming on, my eyes feel as if they've never looked at a computer. They're so good. Performance wise they are just a good as my Gunners. If you're tight on cash and want to look like an attractive person, get these. I love the style. People at work think I got new glasses and think I look awesome in them. Totally worth the money. Do not regret buying.
