Shooter Glass Marbles with Marble Jar For Storage, Set of 12, 1-inch, Assorted Colors

Bought these for plantar fasciitis exercises (grab marble with toes in one location on floor then drop in container). Besides being aesthetically appealing and fun to flick each marble around at the other with my fingers (they have good contact and bounce, even on medium-pile carpet), these marbles work just fine for my foot exercises, even though they're a bit larger than I realized (typical marbles are 1/2" diameter, not 1"). That's my bad for not checking, though I'm debating if that's problematic. I have to use these more to figure that out. For reference, I do have size 9 women's/7 men's feet (I think I'm a D width foot; I can't wear narrow shoes). These do have a nice, smooth, marble surface and seem quality and durable. Can untie the bag they came in for even more compact travel, if desired, though the container suits my needs just fine. Easy to clean; I just put them back in the container, add dishsoap and water, shake w/lid on, then rinse and let dry on a towel. I'm not sure if this is the manufacturer approved way of cleaning, but my marbles came out nice and clean, although (UPDATE) I did find they were more slick after doing this...maybe cleaning is something to do every once and a while? (Which I'm honestly not fond of for "ew" factor). Or, alternatively, they can be cleaned every time for a more unique challenge. I imagine slickness might also vary by person. My feet tend to be more on the dry side. Notably, I have cleaned other brand marbles similarly (in a colendar or bowl, since no container) while working as a physical therapy aide. I'm not sure if those marbles came out as slick, i.e. if that's normal, since I didn't use those marbles, but it's something to be aware of. I like these and will update if the size becomes problematic (i.e. make injury worse). Also, Amazon wanted me to rate "Sheerness" of these, but they aren't transparent.

My kids love these and are perfect for teaching them how to play marbles. These also look really cool and roll nicely. The marbles in my pack had no defects. Screw on lid with jar is a plus too.

Love the feel and weight of these marbles. I’m an OT and use these for my patients to work on stereognosis, finger coordination and hand strength. I like the container because it keep marbles from getting chipped. I also like the design and colors of the marbles.

Used these in my bee water dish. Look cute and perfect size.

I am satisfied with the color selection I received. I plan to use them as mini gazing balls in my daughter's fairy garden. One marble had a few weird dents in it but I don't think that will affect how we will use them.

After busting up my achilles tendon, recovering from surgery was a pain. One of the exercises I was told to do was to pick up marbles from the floor with my toes and put them back into a glass jar. It's actually a pain to find marbles locally when walking is a pain, so... I ordered this set to have them delivered. The colors are a great variety -- I didn't have any repeated colors, and they all look pretty cool. Some had texture, and may not be as useful for projects or games, but I didn't mind slight imperfections. I used these for weeks in recovering from surgery while watching TV... thankfully, being glass they wont smell like my toes after cleaning them -- and they are a good regiment to add to exercise those muscles now when outside of therapy... you just don't pick up things with your toes that often, you know? Good project, good purchase, completely satisfied.
