If you are looking for all those things I mentioned then this is your coat. I actually had to wait till it was very cold out to wear it because it is quite warm. You would not be disappointed. I am usually cold especially if there’s any wind, I am certainly not cold this year. It is made for a really nice fit in all the right places. Plenty of pockets as well. I highly recommend this.

ORIGINAL REVIEW (scroll down for update): I bought this jacket because I needed a decently thick, waterproof jacket because I am moving to the mountains for college. I absolutely despise jackets and never wear one even if the temperature gets below freezing where I live, (which it almost never does), because I just get hot and started sweating extremely easily. However I knew I had no choice now because I would be in a lot colder weather than I'm used to where the winds make it seem 10x colder, but I wanted a jacket that wasn't bulky but would keep me warm. I bought this because I thought it fit that bill and I was disappointed, but that may be because I got the wrong size. I feel like this doesn't fit like it looks in the picture as well if that makes sense. In the picture it looks like it would fit flat and to sort of your figure, but it doesn't. I usually wear a medium in all jackets, so I ordered one, because although I have a small torso, my shoulders are broad and my upper arms are a bit thicker so I need room to move them. I am 5'3" and 150 pounds. However I think this jacket is somewhat large. It kind of bulges out in the back and sides and fits a lot thicker. If I were to wear layers under this it would fit nicely, but I know I am not because I get hot SUPER easily and knew layers plus this jacket would be too much no matter how cold it was. Although I have not tried it out in cold weather, (which I will update this review when I do), I am 100% positive short sleeves and this jacket would be plenty warm for me. The lowest it will get on average where I am going will be around 20 degrees Fahrenheit with "feels like" temperatures being ever colder. I think I am going to return this for a small and see how that works for me. If you plan on layering, I would say order what size you normally do unless you are like me and always size up for jackets. However, this jacket is really nice material and I know it will hold up well in the weather I am moving to. It has plenty of outside and inside pockets to hold all your items and keep them dry. It's a steal for the price.UPDATE: I returned this jacket and reordered for a size small, blue jacket (which looks a lot cuter btw) and I love it, even though I hate jackets. It fits like I expected the first one to. It fits perfect for me to wear short sleeves or a thin long sleeve underneath, which is what I was planning on doing because I know this jacket will keep me plenty warm. I couldn't wear anything thicker than a medium thickness long sleeve shirt because of how it fits. It is a bit tight around my upper arms and shoulders, but a lot of my clothes fit like that because I am broad-shouldered and my upper arms are thicker, and it's fine with me. I love this jacket 100x more now that I ordered a smaller size, and a different color. If you're smaller than me (I'm 5'3 and 150 pounds, small torso and thick bottom half) and plan on layering, I think a small would work. However if you are my size or a little bigger and want to layer, order a medium. I usually wear size small shirts and the small fits me like I want and where I wouldn't have room to layer. I usually order medium jackets, but that size was too big and bulky for me in this jacket. So base what size you need off of this, but even if you don't like it, you get your return in the form of a gift card the day you drop your package off and can receive your new jacket in 2 days for free, so it's really no hassle.I love my jacket and am happy I returned and re-ordered! I will update my review to tell how well it holds up in mountain snow, cold, rain, and wind.

Extremely well-made, insulated, and comfortable. This kept me a little too warm in the sun.The arms are a little short on me, but I am a bit taller and lengthy. Overall extremely well-made jacket. The zippers are smooth, and the Velcro feels durable. Color was exactly as pictured.

Great ski jacket. Warm and comfortable. Inner mesh pocket for storage. Sadly, the inner zipper pocket zipper broke the first time skiing. Still a great jacket!

I'm cold blooded and have problems staying warm in cold weather. I have another jacket in this brand and it is insanely warm, so when I saw this one with the fun design, I didn't hesitate. This jacket is cut differently from my other one but the same size works with each one. I would say that size wise, my regular size works fine. This jacket is a bit fitted, so I can't wear as many layers under it, but truthfully, it's so warm that I don't need multiple layers under it.There is an adjustable area in the upper hip that you can snap to make that area a bit smaller, or unsnap to make it a bit roomier.Worth noting, there is an outer chest pocket which is nice. But my iPhone in it's Otterbox case doesn't fit in that pocket. For me, that's fine, as the two outer hip pockets are plenty roomy for that.The hood of this jacket zips off which I LOVE. The flexibility this offers is just great!I noticed that some people are complaining about arm length. I must have relatively short arms, as usually arm lengths are a bit long for me. These sleeves are perfect...so if you have very long arms, you might be in trouble here. For me, it's SO NICE to have a sleeve length that actually fits!I am 5' 7" tall and the jacket is long enough for me.This coat is rather heavy and it would take up some real estate in a suitcase, but if you are going somewhere very cold, it would be worth the space.

I went by the brand sizing and ordered a Large. It fits perfectly! This coat is very warm and I have put it to good use this past week with all of the snow and below freezing temperatures we have had. The adjustable drawstrings in the hood are so nice to have because my last ski coat didn’t have that. Not to mention, this ski jacket is much warmer than my Columbia ski jacket! I wish I had come across this sooner. I absolutely recommend!

This is my third ski coat from the Wantdo brand. They are all comfortable, warm, and have all the features you want-zippered pockets, a liner with thumb holes to keep the sleeves tucked inside your gloves, and a bottom elastic layer to keep snow out. Wantdo provides great value and an excellent product.

I did a lot of research on jackets for my trip to Iceland. I didn’t want to spend $300-$250 on outdoor name brands, but I didn’t want to buy a cheap puffer jacket that I would freeze in. This jacket was excellent. It kept me warm, stunted the constant icy wind, and was water repellent. It wasn’t real heavy, more streamlined. Lots of colors available. I suggest choosing a bright color so it’s easy to keep track of traveling companions. There’s a lot of thought to the design of this jacket. Apparently, the manufacturer listens to reviews. First, pockets, inside and outside access. Secondly, a drawstring around the bottom of the jacket to keep out the wind. 3) A drawstring around the hood to keep it in place against the wind and cold. 4) Velcro latches around the neck that come up to just below the nose, protecting the face. 5) Detachable hood with a zipper. I wore a non-wool thermal top and a non-wool sweater and never got cold. I love this jacket and you can’t beat the price.

Update: Purchased this coat in 2018 for my trip to Iceland. I am still wearing it to this day (Feb 2021). Colour is vibrant, the material is amazing, and perfect for those cold cold Canadian winters!I love love love this coat! It was much better than I expected and perfect size!I had ordered a size larger than I normally would, due to the fact I knew I was going to be wearing multiple layers under it. The size was perfect just to do so.I really appreciate the faux fur lining which optimized warmth in the coat. I wore this to Iceland and i never felt cold in this coat.The yellow is exactly like the picture, Bright and vibrant.After searching through local stores for a coat, and finding over $200 priced items, I turned to Amazon for a better option. I'm always skeptical on buying clothes online as the sizes are hardly ever right, but this was one of the best purchases I've made on here and for a valuable price!

Zip broke after 2 months of purchasing the jacket feel very disappointed.

We bought this for my fiancee for a trip, so far we have been in temps as low as -17 and she said it kept her nice and warm.
