The battery replacement exactly fit my Surface Pro 4. While techy, I've never taken apart a computer and probably got a little overzealous taking the screen off of the whole contraption. Take your time. Again, take your time. Watch the you-tube videos on replacing the battery, pay attention to all of the screws and where they go, be careful with the camera, and when removing the screen, do a little at a time and only work on the edges, otherwise you risk damage to the screen, camera, or other valuable parts. I was skeptical this would work. Microsoft is zero help, "buy a new surface!" they said. So I rolled up my sleeves and replaced that battery all by myself. With help from you-tube. All, it works. The battery works. The whole thing works just like it's supposed to.

I am pretty skilled with my hands, watched MANY videos on this, and attempted it. The end result is the pro would not work at all after I was done. This was a rabbit hole, that never seemed to end.

However we cut a tiny wire near the cameras and now the screen is shot. None of the tutorials on YouTube mentioned the wires near the camera.It just has 4 lines come across the screen.

Exact fit with my Surface PRO 4, tools that came with the item was very useful.

This was my first time installing a tablet batter, it was very difficult installing. The tools that were provided, was very cheap. All the plastic ones broke. And the screw drivers mostly stripped all the screws. But finally got the old battery out and the new one in. Still have yet to test out my computer
