VooDoo Tactical15-0169007000 Single Weapons Case, Coyote, 30"

I purchased this case for my IWI Tavor and it's a snug fit, but that's not the case's fault. Unfortunately, the California compliant Tavor has a muzzle break that is longer than my F-you (middle) finger and I plan to resolve that issue the instant I move from this gun hating, POS state. This bag is nicely constructed with heavy duty lockable zipper on the main compartment (side pouch is not lockable). Even a compact bull pup will not fit with optics mounted on the rail, so if you are using accessory optics make sure they have high quality quick release mounts that returns to zero when remounted. The side pouch is large enough to hold that optic (though the pouch is not padded) along with about a half dozen real man (30-round) magazines or a full dozen p&$$y whipped CA-compliant 10 rounders. I plan to mount a padded pouch on the molle webbing to better protect the optic (allowing more room for magazines in the side pouch). I only have two complaints. First is that the side pouch is not lockable so I can not carry a handgun in that pouch (another idiotic CA law). The second is that the molle webbing is only on one side of the exterior of the bag and none on the interior of the main compartment which I would prefer to the included hook and loop weapon straps, but this is minor. I wanted the smallest possible bag for this firearm and this bag fits the bill almost perfectly.

Works great and the case is solid no fear of tearing or fringing

Fit my needs nicely. I have a pistol with 10" barrel and currently have a sightmark red dot. The overall length is 26⅜" and is ~ 10" high from grip to top of sight. The top of the red dot makes contact with the top of case when closed, not pushing though. Rides nicely with a 20 rnd. clip, 30 rnd. would be too much for me. Front pouch has two 30 & one 20 rnd. clips. Three 30's will be a tight fight with a lot of pressure on seams. Construction appears solid.Pros: durable, shoulder strap has sliding shoulder pad, solid carry handle, can lock the main compartment zipper for security. Ability to strap gun to prevent excessive movement. Decent quality and it looks good, and reasonably priced.Cons.: it comes with two straps that are about 22" long. WAY two long. That is why only four stars. See how I have the strap wrapped so that I can slide the butt stock in without unwrapping. I will be getting additional smaller length straps. The width is fine.The zipper for the main compartment has a lock loop (really nice one), but there is not one on the pouch.

This V-Doo Case first my OEM Ruger AR-15 Pistol (10.5 inch) perfectly. The front pouch also accommodates my Colt 1911 Commander with no issues. This was the one reason I bought this weapons case. To carry both weapons in a small form factor. In doing so, it exceeded my expectations. While cased, I was able to insert both a 10 round and 20 round Mag in the AR-15 with no clearance issues. As others have noted the retention straps are a bit oversized for the weapon case and weapons. The mfg. needs to re-think this feature. I'll go a bit further and recommend a re-design for the entire weapon retention system. They have a great case, they can make it better.

This was selected to discretely accommodate an AR pistol. Pistol length is 26 inches and, although a close fit, was excellent for the compact size I was looking for. The padding and density of the case materials are quite adequate.The exterior side pocket will accommodate three 30-round magazines. I would like to have had the ability to remove the exterior pouch, in case I needed a more streamlined configuration. It has two rows of Molle straps along the inside length of the bag; a useful feature. However, the weapon retaining straps that they included are less than user-friendly. I will end up looking for Molle-compatible, but more stay-in-place retaining straps. Additionally, it would have been nice to have a similar double row of Molle retraining straps on the exterior of the case.
