My daughter is definitely tender-headed and this makes it a lot easier to comb her head it's not completely painless but it gives and it doesn't pull too hard I recommend it

It came on time, as described, best price online. If you have a black or mixed child with long, easily tangled hair, you need this brush. It really does work! Lather on conditioner and start at the bottom and work up and you can detangle the most tangled hair. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy from this seller, I’ve done all the research for you, they are on time, brand new perfect condition and the best price you’ll find it anywhere.

For a child that is 4'10" and has hair just past the knee, detangling is quite the chore. She's more hair than person...LOL. We alternate between wide tooth combs on wet hair and paddle brushes on dry hair. Always a difficult task and tears inevitably come in to play. This was an improvement in that we were able to get through the task on the verge of tears but no crying and the fact that we were able to use it like a rake working our way up into the knotted areas as if we were using fingers to break up the knots helped alot.She spends a lot of time blocking the nape of her neck as clearly it's the most sensitive area to have hair being tugged on and a constant battle reminding her that I can't comb through her hands but she allowed me to fully get this area detangled. It was definitely a step up from using a comb or paddle brush. One issue we encountered was the bar that separates the rows of combs did not hold a couple of rows securely so had to stop a few times to reset this but overall anything that is a step in the right direction deserves kudos.As an FYI, we used CANTU pre shampoo detangling treatment for kids.

I am here to testify! This was delivered today and I got right to it. I usually have a very rough time with tangles when I wash my hair and it doesn't help that I am pretty sensitive to the discomfort of combing through tangles. In other words, I'm "tender-headed"! In the past, it has taken me about an hour or more to comb through small sections to detangle my hair. Anyway, I used this detangle brush with Oyin detangler, "Oh My Glide". Wow! It was a breeze! A fraction of the time to comb through with little effort and pain. I still had a good amount of hair that came out in the brush, but definitely less than before. Since I hadn't combed through my hair in a few days because I was wearing my hair in its dried natural curly state, it was likely hair that was shedded anyway. For those having issues with the bar staying in place, see my pictures. There are pins on the bar and holes on the brush. Once I noticed this and snapped the pins in place, the bar stayed in place as I combed through my hair, even the toughest areas. I am completely satisfied and will be ordering the full size of "Oh My Glide".

Updated review and star rating: the issue when I first used this was how tangled my hair was at the time(after taking out faux locs). I gave this brush a second change and I can confidently say that it will detangle hair well but not when it hasn't been combed out for awhile.*****Unfortunately, it didn't work for me. After seeing so many pictures and positive reviews I decided to buy it. There was still the same amount of hair breakage as my other detangler and that was with wet hair and conditioner. I have 4a hair, its thick and I'm tender headed which is why I had hope for this item. yes I sectioned my hair before I started the detangling vertically then horizontally. When that didn't seem to work, I went horizontally first then vertically. I can only give two stars because it didn't work for me :(

So i Just got brush and used it right away. i was amazed how it worked so nicely. I have different kind hair wavey, curls, and straight so it gets knotted up easily. It took me no time at all to get knotts out and very lil breakage unlike my normal brush.Also my daughter who biracial has very tight curls and brushing her hair is horrible which she reason why i looking for this brush! I have say No more tears from her eyes! Just Amazing all around.I notice some negative reviews and just want clarify things. If there a missing peace contact them before giving a review and see about exchange errors happen all time. Them reviews usually pointless unless seller has poor customer service. other negative reviews that maybe just their experience with it and may not work for them. All though i don't see how it couldn't be better. I highly recommend this to my neighbors and my Family!Thank you I finally found my perfect brush!

I let my hair go for a week without combining and let the curls do what they do, which for anyone with curly hair know you in trouble doing that! It will be a whole project trying to detangle curly hair after 3 days sometimes no matter how good your products are and trust I've tired just about every curl product on the market! And just about every brush and comb too. This right here! Kuddos to the inventor of this.. I didn't feel any pain and I could immediately tell with the first use less hair came out. I don't know what took me so long to find this thing right here! Read this closely.....Just Buy it!

Although this is a knock off brush, it works the same as similar brushes I've seen being used on YouTube videos. Watch the videos to find out how to properly use it because the brush doesn't come with directions. I have 3b/c curls and this goes through the tangles as if they aren't there. I use it on both dry or wet hair and it works great. The teeth don't break off knots like my other wide tooth combs. It actually has reduced my time spent on detangling my hair on wash day. One negative is that I accidentally leaned on it once and the bristle bent. I was able to move it back, but I don't have high expectations that the bristle will last.I also used it on my matted and cheap Halloween wig from Amazon. My other brush broke trying to detangle that damn thing, but this brush detangled it without a bunch of fallout and I was able to properly pack away the wig for later.
