Just don't twist too much; you don't want to damage the little teeth on the inner ring that keeps the bezel going only one way. I used it on a Tag Heuer 2000 Exclusive; it's best used with a curved knife edge blade just under the bezel (I used the curved part of a regular table knife), twist gently as you turn the blade and the bezel will pop off; you don't have to twist the bezel very far, just a very little, the combination of twisting the blade with the reverse twist of this gadget on the bezel will remove it easily, you'll feel it snap off. To get the bezel back on, make sure you align the indentation spot of the inner ring (the one with the three or four teeth on it) at the six oclock position, examine the little 'teeth' on that ring to make sure they're all just slightly elevated and identical in length and unaltered by when you took the bezel off. Then place the watch on a strong very hard flat surface (I used an anvil top but the bottom of a strong frying pan on a counter would do as well), put the bezel on the watch, and press down with something else hard and flat (I used the flat part of a long wood plane where the middle wasn't near the blade, and I could put a hand on each end of the plane to press uniformly, but you can use a second frying pan, just need something that you can use two hands on to keep it aligned while you use your weight to press down straight on the bezel) and the bezel snaps on.
