Does the trick
I bought this for my daughter who just breezed right by being a beginner cook to a very adventurous cook. Her complaint was having the flimsy mat type of cutting board, so she wanted glass boards. Not only the durable aspect but also for cleaning and working with certain proteins. This board is very substantial and less likely to slide around due to its weight and the small feet on the underside. You can also use this to set a hot dish or two on and bring to the dinner table.

Just OK
I don't like it as much as the one this replaced. (It was purchased at Walmart for about $11.00 and lasted for years and years until I accidentally bumped it against my sink and it shattered into a million pieces :-(Anyway, this one seems of inferior quality. It's not as thick, or sturdy, and it's feet seem like they are just the little sticky plastic nubs you can buy to keep your cabinets from slamming. I also didn't like the way the corners looked. I wound up using a sandpaper block to round them some.(Lastly, although I was aware of the dimensions when I purchased it, I still can't help but wish it were at least an 1" wider.)

Great Size, Safe Material ... But Loud
The size of this cutting board is perfect. Namely, it's big. That's a major plus. In addition to the size, I also like that it is made out of glass because that removes concerns about a porous surface absorbing (and then later transmitting) foods that then become toxic from going bad.On the negative side of this review, both my wife and I didn't like that using this cutting board was SO loud. We also have concerns about this dulling our knives, but we have no direct evidence of that right now. Perhaps time will tell. I got this as a gift for Christmas.

Worth Purchasing!
This item was given to my daughter as a gift but been reported back that she is happy with it and happy with the gift! Well packaged and Amazon packaged it again with bubble wrap to further protect it.

Nice Cutting Board
Very nice clear cutting board. Well made and looks great on the kitchen counter. Has four feet to keep it in place and they seem well attached.
