got mine from atlantic knife and they shipped it super fast. 5 stars to them
got mine from atlantic knife and they shipped it super fast. 5 stars to them. my sample came so tight from the factory i thought it WASNT assisted, so i took a t8 torx and loosened the pivot screw and NOOOOOW its fine and is assisted opening so beware of that. i personally dont like the thumbstuds and may remove them. i use the flipper 100% of the time and oriented the pocket clip for tip up right hand carry. the all black one is cool but i think i should have gotten a gray one now. its too boring looking to me now. my sample is very sharp and easily slices paper and arm hair. the blade centering is pretty poor, as the blade almost touches the handle but it doesnt and still opens smoothly. for 30 bucks i am pretty happy with this knife. ill probably keep it instead of giving it away

Good knife, but...
This is a great knife, great weight and came sharp out of the box. The pivot was a little stiff but I adjusted it with a torx bit. The handle is very smooth ( kind of like the texture of the blade) this could be bad but I like it. The pocket clip is small but stiff to the handle, I'm going to move it to where I want it soon. The frame lock is difficult to use, gloves probably won't work if you try to close it. Good purchase but I wish I got something with more of a tacti-cool look (this does look cool but not that rugged)

Good quality EDC assisted folder
Feels like a good quality EDC knife, smooth open, well built. The finish in particular feels thick and strong. Took my thumb a day or so of noodling around with it to be get comfortable with the frame lock, but once I 'found' it it's been natural feeling since. It's a fine knife, one that would be just as comfortable in your pocket at a gala as in your garage. Would like a slightly stronger spring in the assist, but it's q good product overall. And if you've got the patience and really tiny hex keys, it looks like converting the whole thing to lefty open is achievable if you're so inclined.

Great EDC
This is a great little blade. Even though this model is made overseas, here is the breakdown...Perfectly centered, comes out fast with the speed-safe, and was razor sharp out of the box. Great feeling in hand, nice bit of gimping. Hinderer shape and design, looks really cool in the total black layout. Both Cryo models are awesome, I just happen to prefer the second, larger version. This model is a bit heavier, but it's really not that big a deal considering it's utility and how quickly it deploys. It's a terrific EDC, definitely up to a wide range of tasks. I will say, there is a bit of a difference between overseas and U.S. speed-safe Kershaw blades. However, a little breaking in and lube oil and it's close to perfect.

Robust body, all the Kershaw traits you expect
Typical quality I get with Kershaw. Love the speed release and the strong clips on their knives. I wasn't aware this particular model was so wide (I could have looked at the dimensions but I chose to just look at the picture). My EDC for private use is a Leek so I'm used to a very small body. The blade came very sharp, enough so that I didn't have to touch it up after unboxing which was nice. The rest of it is what I expected from Kershaw so I'm happy.

Kershaw Cryo II Black
Very solid feeling knife. Nice black finish and the blade has a great edge out of the box. I underestimated the size of the knife and probably would have gone with the first gen cryo for my EDC. With that said this knife does not feel cheap at all. I'm surprised I picked this thing up for $38. Great deal.

Cryo series- Excellent choice for EDC
I have the original grey Cryo 2 and have carried it for a acouple of years, the black version didn't disappoint. The coating is very nice and thicker than expected. Will switch off between the first one and this one as my EDC

Great knife! I have several Kirshaws
Great knife! I have several Kirshaws, and this one is my favorite thus far! Arrived very sharp - speed safe flipper was a little stiff at first but opening and closing it a few times loosened it up fine -Opens easily now and fast! The pocket clip on this one is my favorite as well.. the clip on the Cryo II allows for pretty deep pocket carry so it's hard to tell your carrying a pocket knife. Awesome for the money!!
