Does the job.
The flimsy silver exhaust tube is very fragile so don't pull hard but it was literally the only thing I could find that would work for the stove we bought.

It works as it should and easy to install.
I don't understand all the complaints about the flex pipe or screws. This is a simple intake kit, similar to any bathroom vent. I don't know what people were expecting. You simply just need to attach the pipe to the outside plate on ine side and the intake pipe on the other side, using straps (provided) or duct tape, zip ties or whatever. It doesn't really matter. It's an air intake, it doesn't need to be perfectly sealed. I didn't use the screws that came with it. I just used drywall screws. The fact is that screws provided by manufacturers of any products are usually piece of junk and you shouldn't even think of using them to begin with. The bottom line this is such a simple kid that I don't understand what anybody can complain about unless they lacking some basic skills and maybe they just shoot hire professional.

Trick to extending hose
The 2 hoses are very short and will never reach a wood burning stove with one of them. I did find a part on Amazon to use as a coupling so that i was able to use both hoses together. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B06XD1VDZM?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title

Great product
This is a great product! I used this kit for my shop wood stove. Installation was VERY simple. If you are looking to save a few bucks, I would highly recommend this kit. It will save you TON of money compaired to your local fireplace store or any of those online stores. Good luck and God bless! MAGA!!

Gets the fresh air in, needs upfitting for a fifth star.
The kit installs easily enough, quality of the steel parts is nice. The flex hose is exceptionally flimsy and a bit oversized for fitment to the intake pipes on both the stove and the through the wall tube. Hose clamps need to be cranked down very tightly to be even slightly secure. Kit really needs to include a small length of tubing ( an inch or two would be more than sufficient ) to connect both bits of flex hose... one piece will not pass through a wall AND connect to a pellet stove. Obtained a length of 2" muffler pipe and it works well as a connector.

Worked great
So I got this to install my on my pellet stove and it worked great. It came with 2 pieces of flex hose and the only issue I ran into was in one of the reviews someone mentioned that there wasn't coupler but with a straight penetration through the wall, 1 hose was plenty

Give your money to the homeless, at least you’ll get something that works better.
The only thing more of a joke than this steaming pile of crap is the company that doesn’t answer the phone, well that’s not completely fair, they must have so much call volume from all the problems that I’m just on hold for so long I finally give up… hey they got my money right… This company also makes other products, I’d stay away from all of them. So here’s the deal, we’ll start with the hoses that are supposed to expand to 18”… nope they’ll rip open before you get to 15” and they are maybe usable to 12”, then the supplied screws ( see pics) I haven’t a clue as to what they are for, because they won’t work for anything except possibly installing the inside trim plate, but they won’t even work with the drywall fasteners supplied. Other than that it’s metal that’s bent to form a shape, probably the cheapest coating so it’ll be rust by the end of the first season of use, and the holes in the vent are huge, so be ready for wasps and mud daubers to build nests and create another issue… This will not work in an alcove, the hose isn’t long enough, and why are there two short pieces, you’d have to tape them together or buy an adapter to connect, and then 4 hose clamps, maybe to double clamp, who knows… I’ve installed many wood stoves and inserts, and although not a lot of pellet stoves, this is pretty straight forward, it’s a hose that connects to the intake of the heater, and passes through the wall to access fresh air for combustion… The hardware and hose are worthless, and unless you want issues with bugs it needs a screen across the holes in the “rodent cover” somehow. Although there are different situations for different installations, the supplied hardware wouldn’t allow this to be installed in any of them, the screws provided that the instructions call to use ( there’s only one size and type of screw provided) and the hole to mount it all together is 1/4” the screw is #6 and way too small, and too short to even get past the base into the wall, so basically the entire hardware is useless, it would have been better if they didn’t provide anything, however in the instructions it states to use the provided screws for the rodent cover, so what use non self tapping screws to make new holes, or drill holes so it can rust in a week… so why provide 8 screws, 4 for inside trim plate, and the other 4 to mount the rodent cover but there’s only 4 holes so it needs to use the same fasteners to hold it to the outside wall as an assembly, the instructions don’t match the product and the hardware wouldn’t work anyways.

Nice look but thats about it.
The exterior plate looks nice. The tubing is trash and rips. They give you two flex tubing pieces but no joining piece. The exterior plate sleeve is much smaller than the tubing (why??) The mounting hardware was wrong and wouldn't work, had to find my own. Also some rubber seals to keep cold air out of the house would make sense. Save yourself the trouble find a better one.

Works as advertised
No issues with install. Aluminum duct a bit flimsy and too easy to crush.

Costly
The tubing are too brittle, when bended they broke too easelly. The black metal part are better and I have use them with proper piping.
