Skullcandy G.I. (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

So i ordered these headphones after my first set of headphones broke. i was a little unsure because the ratings on the other Skullcandy headphones were pretty bad. They took about five days to get to my house and I LOVE THEM. The sound is great, and the entire set is made very well. The only problem is that the part that goes over your ear feels a bit hollow because the pads and the circle with the Skullcandy logo is removable, so if you drop it at a weird angle there is a chance that the outside could crack. They come with a stereo adapter, a nice carrying bag, and there is a bottle opener concealed in a sipper pocket on the headband. The headband is great and fits perfectly due to its flexibility, and you can adjust the sides. The headphones can swivel and flip and they only have one cord so it doesn't get all tangled up. Overall these are great headphones with good sound and i would recommend buying them, especially at this low price!

So i bought these GI's because they looked cool and it was time for some new headphones. I own a fiew pairs of headphones, im on my 3rd pair of koss porta pro, a pair of Sony MDR-NC7's, and now the black skull candy GI's. The quality of the sound is horrible but i guess it is expected from cheap headphones, i was also expecting the external parts to be better quality, there is no metal parts at all. The cushoning is soft and does not cause pain after long periods of use. The beer bottle opener hidden in the top is a nice touch. The stickers on the cups should have been engraved. Over all its an all right pair for the price. But i love rock music so after buying the GI's and expecting more, i decided to buy some high end grado SR225i's and im excited to get them in the mail today. If you have a budget under 50$ or so, i would recomend the koss porta pro because of it high quality sound and surprising volume. There is absolutely no sound canceling so if thats what you are looking for, i would advise you to buy the sony's since the sound quality is good and the sound canceling is good.

The only other thing may be the noise isolation for beats and that they have an inline microphone the beats do.

I've owned this product for little over a month and I must say this investment was well worth it. The only annoying thing is that nuisance of a packaging Skull-Candy likes to plague its buyers with, you know, the tough plastic sealing that goes around the whole surface of their product? Extremely tedious to remove. Anyway, past the packaging I already loved the feel of the cushioned headphones, you KNOW it's comfortable by just touching them, the plastic seems a little flimsy but it's nothing to really worry about. The single cord that plugs into your mp3/cd player never tangles! In addition to all of that, the headband has a nice little touch to it with the brand name sewn into it, and matches well with the white pinstripes along the sides. The hidden slot and beer opener are a nice touch too :). After slipping on the headphones and turning my music on I was absolutely astounded, the noise cancellation is stellar, and you hear just about every sound in the song. It lacks a little bass though, but if you own an iTouch/iPhone it is easily fixed with buying the eQu Equalizer app for just a mere $3 at the iTunes App Store and cranking up the bass for all songs a bit, and then you get that 'umf' that the headphones needed. Perfect for travel and workouts at the gym, the earcups have a nice grip on your head and never fall of (unless you make a deliberate motion which forces them off.). The only downside is that after using them for a while, your head (specifically ears) can get a little hot.

Buying these headphones I expected something good considering the name brand. To my amazement, I was right. The quality of these headphones are that deserving of 5 stars. First off they look really good. Not too big and gawky while you wear them. Next is the comfort, which is a big deal if you are going to be wearing them a lot like i do. I am a part time DJ so wearing these for hours on end is not beyond the norm. Last of all the sound quality. Although these headphones are not totally noise cancelling, they are pretty loud even at half way. All of my DJ buddies ask to try my headphones and end up buying a pair for themselves. All in all they are a great buy and for a great price.

Es más barato bajar a la calle y pisar una caca de perro. Porque eso es lo que es. Una verdadera basura. Por 60€ que valen se escudan mejor los que regalan en el ave. Son duros, incómodos, hacen daño tras solo 2 segundos y se escudan como una lata de mejillones. Una marcada así con ese precio no debería permitirse fabricar y vender basura tan mala. No lo compren

Great color way, thick, solid set of headphones. Sound quality is good and this product does not leak sound like many other cheaper headphones. In fact it has great noise cancellation and gives you a full and punchy sound. It also has an excellent volume range.It definitely feels comfortable on the ears and the overall appearance will get compliments. Great present for music fans or even just as a treat to yourself. I have had mine for 2 years now and the product has lasted very well, still no signs of wear and tear.Finally DJs will also appreciate this headset due to the rotating ear muffs. Definitely one of Skullcandy's better products.I love mine :D

Estos auriculares skullcandy tienen un excelente sonido, con muy buena calidad y mucho volumen, tambien son muy comodos ya que no te suda la cabeza y las almoadillas de las orejas son muy suaves, al llevarlos colgados del cuello no son tan comodos porque te sientes muy inmovilizado.Por lo general los auriculares estan muy bien y recomiendo a todo el mundo que los compre!
