Black Label Cam BL2601 Plug & Play 720P HD H.264 WiFi Camera w/Pan & Tilt and Night Vision

7/4/2018: Had to update my review since the cameras no longer work. Changed out my router and now the cameras no longer want to stay connected to WI-Fi. Support is non-existent.After reading some of the negative reviews, I was skeptical about the camera. I received the camera today and had it connected to my wifi within minutes. Took another 15 minutes to install it on the wall with the bracket that is included. Works like a charm. I like the talk and listen feature. Like it enough to buy another one today. Compliments my security system and I can look in on my dogs when I am out or at work, can talk to them too!Received the second camera. These cameras are a breeze to setup. If you follow the quick setup you won't have any issues. They were connected within seconds of plugging in to electric. The app does freeze very easily. If you press talk or listen, it will often freeze. When this happens close the app completely. Check to see if it is still running in the background and hit X to close it, restart and it works again. Pro's are easy setup and mounting and the price. Con's are the app is very basic and prone to freeze and the focus of the camera isn't the best. The more light the better. Hey for the price you can't beat it.

Cons: I wish it didn't have the flashing green light that would tell a would be thieve that the camera is right there. 2nd I wish the power cord was longer so I could place it in a corner of the ceiling (Can by get by with an extension cord but still) 3rd Not sure if its the camera or my phone but poor response to rotation and zoom. Last I have not found a way to access this through my laptop. Pros: It is affordable and does what it says it does. 2nd the night vision is amazing 3rd love the snapshot, record option 4th It was easy to hook up and set up. I had it done in about 5-8 minutes. It is still very new it's only been hooked up about 24 hours so that is about it.I might think about getting a couple more, Maybe....

Transmits a decent picture over wi-fi (720p), but only at about a maxium of 10-15 frames per second. Some skipping during recording. I use surveillance software to record instead of the SD card slot. Documentation is viturally non existent. If you are technically savvy, this would be a decent buy. If not, I'd recommend that you get a more popular (albeit more expensive) brand.Update: If you want a camera with the same features (and basically the same look) at a comparable price, I would recommend the Ouvis VZ1, which can also be found on Amazon. Looks like the same camera, but several additional features and nowhere near as difficult to get working.

We have really enjoyed this camera. For the price, it was a no brainer. The picture is clear, and it rotates up to 355 degrees! We got this camera to keep an eye on our dogs while we are away at work. You can listen in and talk through the camera. I would have given this 5 stars, but I felt the setup to the wifi was somewhat difficult. However, I would definitely recommend this camera to anyone!

Have bought two of these now. A son-in-law requested one as a xmas gift to use as a baby monitor - he had done the research and chose this particular camera. He is very happy with it. When my son's two kids were getting to the age of being left alone while the parents worked, I got one of these so he and his wife could log in and see, hear (and talk) to their kids at home - really eased their minds. I can't address any of the technical aspects since I don't use or own one, both my kids love the cameras and use them daily.

This webcam does not work. I contacted Black Label tech support several times and they were not helpful at all. Black Label promised that they would fix the problem and would call me several times but they never followed through. I will never purchase a Black Label product again and I highly recommend that you do not waste your money on this poorly designed web cam.

Horrible picture quality. This camera does not handle different lighting situations well. Don't waste your money on this. The app is also fairly useless. Use the iSmart Alarm brand for a MUCH higher quality picture and functionality.

The video quality of this product is great- and the IR is especially quality. I love how the camera can be remotely turned and rotated.My CONS to this camera is that more than half of my time is spent trying to get a connection via WiFi. It took many of trial and error to realize that even if you cannot connect the.camera remotely, as long as you have the appropriate memory card In place, the camera starts recording the moment it is on.It's compact and lightweight which is nice.Once you understand how it works it should be a am easy process.
